From dozens of adulterers to another. They must get some kind of validation for their own miserable lives in identifying with Condit. Too bad they didn't get caught: it would probably be a career enhancer.

Don't fool yourself. Congress is giving Condit their full support and encourageing him to ride this out. They are all cut from the same cloth. They couldn't care less that Chandra is missing and he most likely was involved. They couldn't care less that her parents need help and he is not talking to their investigators and is lieing through his teeth. They don't even care if we know what is going on. Yes, this is bussiness as usual.
