TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatens to strike American bases across the Middle East if the US military continues to escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
“The US military must know that if this trend continues, the conflict will extend to its bases in the region,” the Guards say in a statement on their Sepah News website.
“This is a serious warning,” they added.
Iran claims control over Hormuz, a strategic shipping route through which one-fifth of the world’s oil supplies passed before war broke out in February.
It regularly attacks ships that attempt to navigate the strait without its authorization.
But the US military has been escorting vessels through the waterway in increasing numbers, with Iran responding by stepping up attacks.
Four ships were hit in the area overnight as they attempted to pass through the wider Gulf, Iranian forces said earlier today.
Washington has also been maintaining a naval blockade on Iranian ports in an attempt to squeeze the country’s economy, while negotiations to end the conflict are deadlocked.
Hormuz, bordered to the north by Iran and to the south by Oman, is only about 30 kilometers (19 miles) wide at its narrowest point and is a critical route for ships carrying oil and gas from energy-rich Gulf countries.

It’s way past time for the USA to bring in the B52s and carpet bomb IRGC installations in Iran. It’s time to carpet bomb the entire Iranian energy infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities. Send the 7th Century savages back to the 7th Century.

now if they were REALLY serious, they would have issued, “This is a HUGH and SERIES warning!”
This is impossible. Trump has won this war 34 times already. Truth Social tells me so.
At this rate, he’ll be winning it twice a month from now until January 3, 2029, when he will declare victory and fly away one last time on Air Force One, having ordered a last round of bombing raids the night before to celebrate the next President’s inauguration.
And when that President doesn’t have the war definitively won in 48 hours, he will call them losers who have blown everything he achieved.

I agree way past time. But, Wait about 12 more days. As President Trump reminded everyone, He will still be president on November 4th.
Understand that much of the increase at the pump filters back toward people like you via federal and state income tax, 401-Ks, state pension funds, and dividends.
The Chinese aren’t so well-placed. If they sell missiles to Iran, they’ll pay a hundred-fold or more for their folly.
