A dad accused of sending his estranged girlfriend plunging to her death from a 15th-floor New York City balcony while she clutched their eight-month-old daughter flashed an evil smirk as he was perp walked.
Angel Carrasco, 31, was taken into custody by US Marshals and NYPD officers on Wednesday.
The arrest came a day after 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez plunged from her apartment in the Bronx early on Tuesday.
Carrasco allegedly shoved the young mother from the balcony while she held their daughter, also named Angel.
Disturbing footage of Carrasco showed him being escorted by officers while grinning wildly.
He rocked his head from side to side while smiling and laughing before being put into a car.
Residents and emergency responders found Ramirez and her baby seriously injured and they were rushed to the hospital.

This is confusing. “Plunged to her death”- then “both rushed to hospital”. Did anyone die?
It’s probably not just delight but also a desire to look- at least superficially- like he is masculine, powerful and in control, when in fact this act of murder demonstrates that he is the opposite- mentally a child, with no more discipline and impulse control than a baby.
Seems rather pleased with himself...
He may also be angling to cop an insanity plea.
