Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is adamant that he will remain in charge of upper chamber Democrats following next month’s midterms — and has issued an inflammatory warning that Republicans could attempt to “steal the election.”
“I am running for re-election for leader,” Schumer insisted to Politico in an interview published Wednesday. “Period.”
“It’s 50-50. We’re right on the edge of winning. Two things could have us lose. One, they steal the election,” Schumer told Semafor in a separate interview, also published Wednesday.
“The second thing is money. They have obscene amounts of money,” he continued. “All we need is enough to be able to answer the s— they’re going to throw at us, and we’re doing well there.”
A rep for Schumer did not immediately respond to a request to clarify the senator’s “steal the election” comment.
The Republican National Committee currently has about $126 million cash on hand, compared to the Democratic National Committee’s $16.9 million cash on hand and $17.6 million debt.
“Here’s how I sum up the election in one sentence: Can an enormous Republican advantage in dollars defeat an enormous Democratic advantage in candidates and in political climate?” Schumer added to Semafor. “I think we win.”
The Brooklyn native, 75, added that Democrats are “totally unified” and have the “edge” in their battle to regain the Senate after two years in the minority.

I thought that US elections were not stealable. That’s what the Democrats said in 2016
Can elections be stolen? How horrible! Maybe the Senate should pass legislation to make sure the Republicans can’t steal elections. It’s a crazy idea, but it just might work.

Schumer old useless dog with same old tricks.
He is in panic mode.
Same template as a false flag.
Easy peasy Chuck. Pass Voter ID laws. Problem solved.
If it is stolen by the GOP, then so be it. Tit for Tat I say.
But muh polls.
Translation: The Dems already have their plan in place to steal the election.
Pretty much proves that USAID was nothing more than a funnel for the leftists and democrats.
Being well versed in stealing........ Just sayin’.
AOC will take his job if he runs for re-election. He’s toast.
In Schumer’s mind republicans are cheating if they stop any democrats from cheating.
Schuck flipping the finger to his on-staff media handlers.
WHO MIGHT STEAL THE ELECTION SCHUMER? WHO???
So it turns out that Schuck is actually jealous of Miotch holding the award for longest Senate Minority Leader...
"Even with another full term as Minority Leader (through January 2029), Schumer would have about 8 years in the role: January 2017 to January 2021, plus January 2025 to January 2029.Mitch McConnell holds the record at roughly 12 years as minority leader (2007–2015 and 2021–2025). Everett Dirksen (about 10.5 years) and Joseph Robinson (10 years) would also still be ahead of Schumer. To pass McConnell, Schumer would need to stay minority leader into roughly 2033."
Flipping the script...
"Mike Mansfield holds the record, about 16 years as majority leader (1961–1977). Alben Barkley is second at roughly 10 years (1937–1947), and Harry Reid is next at 8 (2007–2015).McConnell was majority leader for 6 years (2015–2021), which ties him with Lyndon Johnson, Robert Byrd, and George Mitchell in the middle of the pack. Schumer had 4 years (2021–2025), roughly level with Bill Frist.
McConnell's real record is overall party leadership: his 18 years as Republican leader (2007–2025), counting both majority and minority time, passed Mansfield in January 2023 as the longest in Senate history. Schumer, at about 10 years so far, would need to stay leader through early 2035 to catch him."
Ahhhhh, so now elections CAN be stolen after all. How fascinating.
If Schumer is out there saying this in public, their private polling must be horrendous. From his mouth to God’s ear.
