Howdy, luvie.
Not sure what the difference was between early afternoon and late but I survived going out to kill weeds. Couldn’t have done it early.
Just wish I’d worn different shoes. The boots I wore while walking all over the place left my ankle very crabby tonight.
Can’t win for losin’. LOL
Hope you enjoyed your nice cool day. Did you ever get any rain?

Glad you went when you could ‘’survive’’ the nasty allergens.
Why on earth would you wear boots in this heat? Aren’t those for 30° and under? LOL!
It was a very nice day, but we didn’t get a drop of rain. Our luck is rotten, too. There was only one cloud that was handy for rain when I was checking, and I guess it was wrung out before reaching us.

It wasn’t as hot when I went out because it was late afternoon. I wore the boots to protect my feet. Didn’t want any of the weed killer spray to accidentally get on my skin. You don’t eeeeeeeven want that stuff to get on you.
Bummer you didn’t get some rain. It looks like everything else coming up is going to pass well east of you. :-(

Well, that’s true. Weed killer on any part of the body is a no-no.
I sat with the back-yard kitties for a bit earlier, and it was so nice. I put my head back on my spring-loaded rocking chair out there and wanted sooo much to just doze off in that nice fresh feeling air. So different from last week.
It’s supposed to get down into the high 60s overnight, and that’s amazing to me.

Pic 4: the local Circle Ks here had Korean BBQ hot dogs available this summer, pretty good. Maybe they got lucky and had those.
Pic 6: That looks like a big steaming heap of No Fun to deal with.

Exactly. This stuff’s nasty and I mixed it strong. I want to kill the stuff growing around this place!
Nice that it’s comfy enough to sit outside with the kitties for a bit.
I’d love to sit outside for a bit. It’s 68 degrees and that’s doable. It’s been in the upper 50s by this time of night the past several nights and that’s a bit chilly for sitting out. But I’m not going to push my luck with the sinuses. LOL It’s not quite as fun now anyway. Too quiet. The katydids have gone quiet now.
Our lows won’t be quite as nippy through the weekend. It’s been in the upper 40s when I’ve gone to bed the past few nights and we’ll be back there next Monday. Low 60s/upper 50s between now and then.
Been waiting for this!

If those Korean BBQ hotdogs include kimchi, then I’m out. 🤢 That stuff is vile, according to my hubby who spent a year in Korea at Kunsan AFB. It was a long year for both of us.
I’ll bet a few of them wish they had just gone ahead and sunk completely. LOL!
