New York Times executive killed by his elderly in-laws, police say

A couple in their late 70s gunned down their son-in-law in a California city park over the weekend, authorities said, and court documents showed the victim had been in a bitter custody dispute with their daughter.

Jonathan McKinsey, a 40-year-old gaming engineer for The New York Times, was shot to death Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of a sports complex in Dublin, east of San Francisco. A police sergeant was driving nearby and saw him on the ground as witnesses began calling 911 and pointing out the couple, who were still near the scene, Dublin Police Services said in a news release.

In his petition for a protection order, McKinsey, who was transgender, alleged that Chen had directed anti-LGBTQ+ slurs at him and at one of their children, the Mercury News reported. He also accused Jang of being abusive during medical procedures related to his transition.

Takes a lot of careful reading even to figure how this "family" was made up. The "husband" here, actually being female, could not be the kids' biological father. My guess is the kids are products of artificial insemination. Also my guess is that a pair of "married" lesbians decided to have the butch part of the "marriage" mengelized into a fake man; hence "his" luxuriant beard.

You have to read the entire article to finally learn the “son-in-law” was actually a woman who trannied into a man.

So, two elderly Asian parents (real Asian, not Middle Eastern Asian) shot the bearded woman married to their daughter. The two women had 3 children somehow and were getting a divorce. There was a fight for custody.

I feel like the old couple may have decided they had nothing left to lose at their age.
