State Sen. Angela Paxton finally appears to be weighing in publicly on Ken Paxton’s U.S. Senate run, more than a year after she filed to divorce him “on biblical grounds.”
At a gathering for the Texas Federation of Republican Women late last week, she encouraged attendees to vote party line down the ballot, “even if we’re mad at them.”
“We have more ability to influence when that person is attached to our party,” she added, without naming Ken Paxton or the U.S. Senate race.
Angela Paxton, who represents a district in North Texas, has been largely silent on the race since Ken Paxton, the state’s attorney general, decided to challenge U.S. Sen. John Cornyn last year. She hasn’t appeared with him on the campaign trail, and hasn’t previously pushed back as his opponents sought to use the divorce and her accusations of adultery to undercut his appeal with conservative Christian voters.

Very decent of her. She could have wrecked her ex's chances when he was in a tight primary with Cornyn, but she didn't. She could have gone all angry ex wife bitter in this race with Talafreako, but she stayed classy.

She’s right. And she seems like a decent person unlike some other estranged political spouses.
She is putting the country first instead of personal grudges. Good for her! Democrats started as the party of Slavery and after Lincoln took away their slaves they transitioned to the universal slavery of Socialism. NEVER vote for a RAT!
She seems decent and someone posted a video of her daughter endorsing Ken, some time back.
I would like for them to reconcile and for Ken to keep his privates, private.
Ken does do a lot of good, though.

Never said he was. I said her statement was asinine and that the person makes the seat.
I gave RINOs as an example..wasted seats because of the azzholes that fill them.

Good lady. As opposed to phony Cornball, who can’t set aside his animus for MAGA, Paxton’s ex sounds like a patriot who can at least understand what’s at stake here.
