I don’t click on WP, as they’re usually behind a paywall. But at least they sent him to Panama & not back to Iran.
He could change his name to Imam Christian and open a pay to pray mosque. It could become a moneymaker and start a trend.

The Washington Post publishes a Trump feel-good story.
Making a guilt trip because he converted to Christianity. As a Christian I’m a little insulted by their tactic.
My heart is joyful for any Muslim that converts. However, there are over 100 countries on this planet that would accept him and allow him to live safely as a Christian. It’s insulting when the story is written with undertones that the US is the ONLY option for people. Complete baloney.

He chose the same route for entry into the US that Muslim sleeper agents choose, then when he was caught at the border he spouted this story and requested asylum. He's trying to use the stupid infidels to let him stay.
But I'm not stupid enough believe him OR the WP. He's a Muslim terrorist, no doubt in my mind.

I like that the administration sees it this way.
Now he needs to start studying because one of the things you have to do as a Christian is follow the laws. The only exception is in matters of conscious and that exception is very small and kind of strict.
Breaking into another country to live there illegally does not fit into that exception.
