Chloe Dillon was in the middle of deciding an asylum case at San Francisco’s immigration court when her supervisor told her to check her email.
Dillon had finished hearing testimony and arguments and stepped back into her chambers to deliberate when she opened a termination notice. It was about 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2025. The letter said her removal was effective that day and ordered her to surrender her federal property. The notice cited only “Article II of the Constitution,” according to a lawsuit Dillon filed Thursday.

The termination came roughly 48 hours after Dillon raised concerns with a supervisor about the detention of an unaccompanied minor asylum seeker who had appeared in her courtroom, according to her federal complaint.

Oh no …anyways
Lol. What’s for lunch?
Just one?
Pitiful.
why can’t they do fire judges like this all over the country?
I would wager that the unaccompanied “minor” asylum seeker traveled through many countries to suddenly stop here to seek asylum. In other words, country shopping.
The entire asylum process is a stinking scam. These migrants are coached by leftwing advocates hired by NGO’s to bring in millions and millions of future communist democrats.
The unaccompanied minor was 18 years old, 17 when he broke into America. She lost her job when she decided to be an advocate for the very people she was hired to judge. You can’t be an advocate and an impartial judge at the same time.
“do you really want to push this?”
Why does that sound like a very polite FAFO. Pretty good chance her email to her boss said she wasn’t going to follow the law since she was a judge and do anything she wanted to. She and her husband were left without insurance when her husband was a tech writer with the reporting outlet. Why didn’t they offer her husband insurance?
A Judge FIRED?????? ONE????? WTH aren’t there DOZENS of these STUPID, EVIL JUDGES FIRED???
She and her husband were left without insurance when her husband was a tech writer with the reporting outlet. Why didn’t they offer her husband insurance?

Without insurance? The United States has a COBRA law that ensures that you have 18 months to find new insurance and you can stay on the old insurance policy.
And...?
Well.....there.....you.....go
Can’t she continue her insurance through COBRA?
Re COBRA: “you have 18 months to find new insurance and you can stay on the old insurance policy.”
But you have to pay for it yourself, and it is very expensive! At least it used to be when I was in Benefits division of HR. (Of course, that could have changed since then.) But at least is is AVAILABLE to buy.
So let her pay dearly for COBRA, and let that be a lesson to her re FAFO.
Dear Ketanji...check your email.
She is right, it shouldn’t have taken that long.
When Dem talking points and CNN soundbites are no longer the basis of law....
