China warned that it would “take all necessary measures” and retaliate against the US if any of its companies are included in the Trump administration’s new secondary sanctions targeting Iran.
Companies based in Hong Kong and mainland China were among the entities targeted by the US after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced “Operation Economic Outcast” on Monday to further isolate Iran.
The US, however, stopped short of listing large Chinese financial institutions, with Beijing — Iran’s largest oil buyer — warning that it will do whatever it takes to protect its economic interests.

“China has made clear on many occasions its firm opposition to illicit unilateral sanctions that have no basis in international law or the authorization of the UN Security Council,” he added.

They already are. 90% of the oil that was coming out of the straits from Iran was going to China.

China has been using Iran, Canada, Panama, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Brazil, Nicaragua and other countries to duplicate the encirclement strategy used against Israel against the United States to pin the US down in any potential conflict
China also played a significant role in the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia for similar reasons.
The Trump Administration is dismantling China's strategy at the same time he dismantles Iran's
The Trump Administration has maneuvered both Iran and China into a box by blockading Iran's oil shipments to China while opening the Persian Gulf to oil shipping to the rest of the world.
China has exploited the sanctions on Iran to purchase oil at deep discounts which has helped support both their economy and their military machine. China was also doing the same thing with Venezuela
The Trump Administration has done a brilliant job of dismantling the system China was building with Iran and Venezuela
President Trump has already put a stop to China's meddling in Venezuela and the Trump team's efforts to put the US in control of the Strait of Hormuz is the perfect ju jitsu move against Iran and China.
