Secretary of State Marco Rubio outperforms Vice President JD Vance in three hypothetical 2028 presidential match-ups against some of the top-polling Democrats, according to a survey released Thursday.

Pitted against former Vice President Kamala Harris and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rubio tops both by the same 48%-43%, the Emerson College National Poll showed.

Meanwhile, Vance bests the “Squad” congresswoman 46%-44% but comes up short against the failed 2024 Democratic presidential nominee by 4 percentage points.

Rubio won’t run unless JD drops out.

How much longer will this dead horse be beaten?

It’s early, but I have been pleasantly surprised by Rubio in his Secretary of State role. Would need more info on his domestic positions.

Rubio brings the Catholic and Hispanic vote for the win. Vance brings a few drug addled hillbillies and rebellious indian H1B visa holders illegally voting.

Easy choice. Only question is who his running mate will be. Rubio / ?? 2028!

I think Marco has done an exceptional job as SOS. Nothing against Vance but I think he could be an excellent president.

Don't look at national numbers. Look at states. Rubio brings voters in states the GOP will win or lose regardless of who their candidate is.

Vance brings Rust Belt voters that have been the core of Trump's base for more than a decade.

Rubio will get his immigration amnesty stunt from 2013 draped around his neck like an anchor.

Even worse than his duplicity in pushing for amnesty after getting elected on the strength of his "TEA Party" support was his decision to co-sponsor the Senate bill with fellow Republican @ssholes John McCain, Jeff Flake, and Lindsey Graham.

According to the 2024 U.S. Census, the top 10 states by Hispanic/Latino population are New Mexico 49%, California 41%, Texas 40%, Arizona 32%, Nevada 31%, Florida 29%, New Jersey 24%, Colorado 23%, New York 20%, and Illinois 19%.

Rubio won't win in California or New York or even Illinois. But New Mexico, New Jersey and Colorado? Maybe.

Electing Rubio is no better than electing Newsom.

I’m a big JD fan but I wish he would denounce the GOP and run as an independent. And, just to show I’m consistent, I said the same thing about DJT right here in Inauguration Day 2017.

I predicted the GOP would work hard to ruin his Presidency (and boy was I ever right!), and I thought he and he alone could recruit 435 patriots to run for the House in November 2018 on a Restore America platform.

Too bad he didn’t listen.

I hate to do this, but is Mssr.Rubio native born, of native born parents, as the U.S.Constitution calls for?

LOL. No wonder the Republican Party ends up with such liars and feckless losers in Washington.

“No wonder the Republican Party ends up with such liars and feckless losers in Washington.”

They are just doing their job - ruining the nation and hoping they work slowly and quietly enough so no one sees.

Deep State loves ginning up games of lets-you-and-him-fight.

Just refuse to play.

I have an outlandish scenario for you to consider:

1. The GOP gets their asses thoroughly kicked in November.
2. Donald Trump fends off all Democratic abuse in Congress by announcing that he's a Democrat.
3. The U.S. is basically run by New York City at this point, with NYC stooges in all leadership roles in Washington -- Trump (President) + Jeffries (House) and Schumer (Senate)
4. He signs every piece of Democrat legislation that Congress puts on his desk. Most of it is designed to provide massive windfalls to Wall Street through unapologetic fascist governance.
5. J.D. Vance immediately begins campaigning against this bullsh!t as the leader of the Republican opposition.
