Videos on social media have shown angry drivers in Russia in bitter fights over gasoline as shortages caused by Ukraine’s strikes against oil facilities present an increasing headache for the Kremlin.
Kremlin-backed media are reporting the extent of growing queues at the pump, including the newspaper Izvestia, which said gasoline was available at only 28 percent of gas stations, compared with 41 percent a week earlier.
Reuters reported August 17 that fuel sales were restricted in at least 10 regions of Russia, that "Rosneft" set a limit of 30 liters per vehicle, "Tatneft" set a limit of 50 liters, and "Gazprom Neft" set a limit of 40-60 liters.
Drivers are posting videos on social media, sometimes shouting, or even in tears at having to queue for gasoline and fighting among themselves when they get to the pump.
“Russian gas stations have turned into battlegrounds,” posted X user Churchill MG next to a clip of a fight between two men waiting to fill up their cars.

Can’t you run a vehicle on Vodka?
Just for conversion ease, there are 3.875 Liters for a gallon. So a 40 liter limit would be 10.32 gallons. That would suit me fine now. When I was working….that would have been a problem.
In Russia road is road drive where you want road same road
End this stupid war already. With Communist China and Islamic nutjobs trying to conquer the World this senseless war is giving these enemies of mankind an advantage free of charge .
Ukraine should go after Vodka manufacturing now ,then you’ll see a real brawl ,LOL
Everclear is a brand of high-proof rectified grain alcohol (neutral spirits) produced by Luxco. That would probably work.

How do you make Putin end his invasion?
Putin is sending his Russian troops to Communist China to be trained to fight the Ukrainians, and has brought in the Communist North Korean Army combat troops to help in the fight in this invasion while Muslim Iran was helping to arm Putin’s troops.
Everclear, that mixed with frozen pink lemonade made a drink in high school that the girls couldn’t resist.
Trump could move to support the Ukraine out of retaliation that Putin is supplying Iran.
Russia has lots of oil, just no way to refine it. Ukraine understood that you can’t destroy the oil in the ground, but you can take out the refineries. The same is true for Iran...lots of oil, but nothing to do with it.
Putin knows that Russians will endure hardship in support of his war in Ukraine.
The ends justifies the means.
Except that the ends are the same as ending Russia. But, the people will still understand and they don’t care if their country gets destroyed for Putin’s personal goals.
We used cans of Hawaiian Punch. In my Air Force barracks life, we’d go to the BX and buy one new 55-gallon plastic trash can. Go to Class 6, buy ten bottles of Everclear. Go to Commissary and buy ten big cans of Hawaiian Punch. Hose out plastic can (it had to be NEW) and add: three bags of ice, several bottles of Everclear, big cans of Hawaiian punch. We could add all ten bottles of the Everclear or less depending on how many were drinking.
We called it Kickapoo Koolaid.
I wonder which one of us got more sex with the help of Everclear, for more reasons than one, I hope it was me.
Did the same for my 21st birthday. We called the party Guyana!
And we added lots of fruit.
I might have, but I was too drunk to remember.
If it was the Navy there would probably be photos.
It’s all part of the same war, really.
