Confirmed Royal Jet flights from Abu Dhabi into Iran have intensified scrutiny of unverified claims that the United Arab Emirates released billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets, including gold, to reduce its exposure to future Iranian attacks.
The allegations, attributed exclusively to anonymous senior sources in Tehran, describe financial transfers designed to preserve an apparent pause in Iranian missile and drone strikes against Emirati territory during the wider 2026 United States-Iran confrontation.
Flight-tracking data confirms that a Royal Jet Boeing 737-7KK Business Jet, registered A6-RJA, conducted short return flights from Abu Dhabi to Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport and Karaj’s Payam Airport on August 11 and August 12.
Those verified aircraft movements establish that high-level or sensitive travel occurred, but they do not independently demonstrate that the aircraft transported frozen assets, physical gold, cash, officials, intelligence personnel, or diplomatic communications between both governments.
Reports claim the August missions carried additional Iranian assets held within UAE banks, including between 1.5 and two tonnes of gold valued at approximately $212 million to $283 million, although no documentary or physical evidence has surfaced.

Pirates gonna pirate.
The allegations, attributed exclusively to anonymous senior sources in Tehran, also included claims that the Iranian economy was still in such good shape that the IRGC gave every citizen in Iran a free pony and a lifetime supply of Purina Pony Chow ...
No, no, no.
It was just DoorDash...

Because paying the Protection Money is always such a good idea.
You know what they say about Dane-geld.

Pennies for defense but billions for tribute.
They’ll end up broke—and enslaved.
They will be sure to know where to go when they need more money.
At least for now it won’t be US.
Replace the current players with those of WWII.
This is like when we had Germany practically defenseless and suppose Great Britain, which Germany bombed relentlessly, gave Germany funds that allowed it to continue it’s belligerence.
We would have been enraged at England for having turned on us after years of supporting it.
We should be the same with the snakes ruling Saudi Arabia/UAE.
Golly. If we can’t trust Muslims who are commanded to lie to, cheat, steal from, and kill infidels, who can we trust?
They should have put the money into swarms of thousands of Ukie style drones.
In this case, the best defense is probably a good offense.
Yeah, right. Now pull the other leg, it's got bells on. Iran has been making these claims for months now.
I'm going to say no. UAE has been solidly against Iran all year, IRGC claims notwithstanding.
Take out Iran’s refined products supply. It virtually all goes to internal consumption.
Without refined products, it doesn’t matter how much money Iran can scarf up.
However, IF this story is true, maybe we should just tell UAE that since they are subverting us, from here on out they are on their own. Good luck, boys...
I tend to agree, but, it may be UAE is getting a bit wobbly due to the shortage of THAAD and Patriot missiles.
Where is Maggie Thatcher when ya’ need a steadying voice...?
You will get absolutely no arguments from me as if we had a thing to do with it.
For my money we should just leave, today.
It seems that not many recall two important things in this sequence of events.
1. On February 28 we were told that Kushner and the other guy had been told by the Iranians that they had 460 kilos of 60% enriched. That is why we went to war. Either we didn’t get it all in Midnight Hammer or they dug it up.
2. In an interview sometime about the first of April, after the pilot rescues Trump said that all the material was still buried and that only we or the chicoms could dig it up. He also said that there was no need to go in an get it because we are able to monitor the location 24/7/365 and that if they ever did try to dig it up or restart their operations we could just do another Midnight Hammer operation.
Who else remembers this? Which of the two conditions are true?
Trump also has said many times we don’t need this oil that comes through the Straits. Why then are we still there? Trump has said we don’t need to get the enriched uranium and that we can stop them from making more.
How many times have the Iranians now left us at the altar? What are we doing right now and why? Anyone? Buler?
I am confused but then again, I am but a mere mortal unable to play 4D chess like the great one.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly denies media reports claiming it paid or transferred billions of dollars to Iran in exchange for halting drone and missile attacks.
Reuters and other outlets cited anonymous regional sources claiming that the UAE agreed to unlock between $10 billion and $20 billion in frozen Iranian funds. Sources alleged that an initial payment of $3 billion had already been delivered to stop Iranian strikes against the Gulf state.
The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied the allegations, calling them entirely false and unfounded. The government emphasized that no frozen Iranian assets or funds have been released, transferred, or facilitated through the UAE.
Looks like Prez Trump is trying to bail out the ocean with a coffee cup. Iran is 100% thuggish gangsters who thrive on extortion to prevent murder and mass destruction. Iran may be appending 'The Art of the Deal'.
lol, you beat me to it.
