Is anybody happier because you passed this way?
Does anybody remember that you spoke to them today?

The day is almost over and its toiling time is through:
Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?

Can you say tonight in parting with the day that's slipping fast,
That you helped a single person of the many that you passed?

Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said?
Does the one whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead?

Did you waste the day or use it? Was it well or sorely spent?
Did you leave a trail of kindness or a scar of discontent?

As you close your eyes in slumber, do you think that God will say:
YOU have earned one more tomorrow by what you did today?

A boatload of neglected paperwork is finally rounded up and put in its proper place. Whew!!!

Only a few jets out over the city that I heard, but one was DIRECTLY OVER MY DECK!!!

Had rain late this afternoon. I’d hope to get a start on mowing but it was way too hot early in the day. The rain got here before it would have cooled off a little and the area I wanted to hit was in the shade. Dang it.

It’s not the prettiest day up there. Very hazy.

Extra prayers for Israel...

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

I watched the show on the LH cam and could see, every now and then, when one or two would head farther out in your direction. Bet it was awesome when the one flew directly overhead! Were you out there at the time?
