On July 20, 2026 the United States Department of Justice sent a letter to the University of California San Diego regarding the UCSD School of Medicine, stating that “[b]ased on its review of San Diego Med’s documents and data” the School of Medicine “has intentionally discriminated against applicants by granting and denying admission based on their race after the Supreme Court’s decision in” Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President & Fellows of Harvard College, 600 U.S. 181 (2023) (“SFFA”).

We’ll see how this holds up...white and asian americans might get relief on using their superior intellects applied to medicine. Then again, the way medicine is going, maybe they’d rather look at other professions, which is scary given I’d prefer my health be in those hands with the most brains, wouldn’t you? My two cents.
Tip of the iceberg.
Now look at the admissions policies of the entire UC system.
You’ll understand rapidly why UCSD has a remedial math problem.
And why the American kids have to go to the surrounding states to get an education...at far higher prices.
And why San Jose State, for instance, a university founded by and funded by White Americans is now...(drum roll) 13.5% White, when it was 90% in 1970.
It ain’t just the birth rate.
Of all schools that let incompetent people into their programs, MEDICAL SCHOOLS would be the most dangerous.
Who wants a DEI DOCTOR operating on their child or loved one?

Silly, Supreme Court decisions only apply to Republicans, who are chain bound by them.
Makes me remember the show where Red Foxx went to the hospital.
Have you noticed these foreign students come her to the US & stay? Plus, they get their license somewhere & we’re expected to pronounce their name which are about 10 characters long so these foreign doctors go by “Dr D” or “Dr C” or the rest of the alphabet. If I can’t pronounce their names, why should I let them treat me? My late mom’s kidney doctor I couldn’t pronounce the name. When she was in the hospital for pneumonia, he’d stop by & say “how are you” wait for an answer then leave. He never did diddly squat for her kidneys. No exams & no change in meds. Then tell insurance he saw her every day on his hosptial rounds so they would pay him. What a joke!

It’s a long and difficult path for any doctor to get the training and various specialty training that might give them access to an exam room with your child or loved one.
I don’t want any professional to have arrived via affirmative action. Engineering is one such area, medicine another. That’s also why professions that impact human lives need to be regulated and inspected.
We all want and need well-qualified doctors—NOT “racial-quota” doctors who may have flunked reading and basic math, let alone organic chemistry!
There is a good reason why organic chemistry is required for pre-med! It separates out the dumb-dumbs!
