President Trump on Tuesday warned the US will pummel Iran until “I say it’s enough” and that “energy targets” are next in his ramped-up war effort.
“I’ll save the energy targets for last, but ultimately we’ll hit energy targets,” Trump told Fox News reporter Trey Yingst in an interview on the stepped-up military operation.
“We’re going to hit them very hard tonight. We’re going to hit them very hard tomorrow night. We’re going to hit them very hard the night after, and then next week it gets really bad for them because next week comes the power plants,” Trump said.
“Next week comes the bridges. We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”

They need to knock out the regime.
Maybe that’s not easy but it’s the only solution.

Taking out power plants and bridges sounds more like a war on that population, who mainly live in cities, than a war on the actual enemy, who mainly live in hundreds of subterranean bases scattered througout the 350,000 square miles of Iran's mountainous region.

Trump and allies should set up a program where the Strait must remain open and the cost of ANY AND ALL damages* inflicted upon shipping by Iran will be 100% covered by IRANIAN IMPOUNDED FUNDS. This would stiffen the spines of the shipping insurers and reinsurers. And IRANIANS UNDERSTAND MONEY, do not want to lose it and will punish (i.e., kill) those who cause the loss. And the ones causing the loss are the IRGC.
I’m posting this in every thread where the absence of such MONETARY DAMAGES ASSESSMENT is partially responsible for the situation.
And, yes, we could both bomb Iran (and/or take other actions) and do this at the same time.
* “ALL damages” INCLUDES the cost of cargo, the cost to repair/replace the ship, the “opportunity cost” (revenues/profits the ship could have made during the time the ship is out of action), losses suffered by the crew members (and.or their families) who are injured or killed

Blah. Blah blah Trump keeps yapping but already blew his chance to end them. His pause so early on was a mistake. I imagine his advisors told him so but his desire to be man of peace and win a Nobel was too strong.
He has a few weeks left to close this out or Dems will be impeaching him, maybe successfully removing him, next spring.
Don’t talk about what you’re gonna do-—just do it, and let the Iranian survivors deal with the shock of what just happened.
