Iran launched missiles and drones toward American military bases in four Middle Eastern countries Thursday following a second night of US strikes on the Islamic Republic.
Tehran said it targeted Patriot missile interceptors in Kuwait, early warning systems in Qatar, and fuel depots in Bahrain, which is also the home of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet.
Iran also fired at least 10 ballistic missiles toward Jordan’s Azraq military base, which hosts the US Air Force’s 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, according the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Jordan’s armed forces said eight of the missiles were intercepted, with debris falling onto its territory, but no injuries reported.
Kuwait’s military also confirmed the attacks, saying its forces intercepted a cruise missile, three ballistic missiles and 10 drones.
At least one person was injured by falling shrapnel from the interceptions, Kuwaiti officials added.

In the letter, President Washington responded to Moultrie's request for troops for a potential counteroffensive against the Creek Nation (in the context of ongoing conflicts with Native American tribes). He explained that he had consulted General Pickens for information but could not authorize offensive action without Congress:
"Having conceived an opinion highly favourable to General Pickens, I invited him to repair to this City in order that I might obtain from him such facts & information as would be essential to an offensive Expedition against the refractory part of the Creek nation, whenever Congress should decide that measure to be proper & necessary. The Constitution vests the power of declaring War with Congress, therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject, and authorised such a measure."

My WAG is that the Iranians are willing to accept the kinetic punishment in exchange for disrupting the petroleum markets.
They have calculated that the US bombs will not be enough to dislodge their control before the economic pressure forces the POTUS to call a timeout.

I noticed Iran still has ports and ships coming to them. That needs to immediately change. Ships don’t come to bombed out ports.

I think that this is what they are counting on. Sometimes people make bad calculations. Congress should do what is necessary to back the executive to ‘fix’ this problem.
..... Sounds like Iran is primed and ready to negotiate another Peace Deal ......
