Hassan Khomeini, a grandson of the first Iranian supreme leader, Ruhollah Khomeini, has hailed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the US and Iran as a major “victory” for Tehran.
The “greater jihad” would now begin, he promised, according to a speech aired by Iranian state media earlier this week.

By “ego and self-centeredness” he means Trump and the West.
By “greater jihad” he probably means the Holy Jihad goes forward with or without some phony deal with the West.
Deal or no deal we will need confirmation of Iran’s nuclear capabilities over time by some means.
The “greater jihad” is a term often used to refer to the internal, spiritual struggle, while the “lesser jihad” refers to armed conflict.
I don't think this is going to put him at the top of the target list. IRGC folks are probably higher priority.

This profoundly misguided MOU, if implemented in its current form, would represent one of the greatest strategic victories for radical Islamist movements this century and a major success for the Iranian mullahs and affiliated terrorist groups such as Hezbollah, on a scale not seen since the end of World War II.
That is why this MOU cannot and will not become reality. It is designed to fail. Thank God.

There has been no surrender, conditional, unconditional, or otherwise. Trump achieved nothing and is leaving Iran in a better situation than it was before the war began.

Other than the destruction of Iran’s Air Force and navy, and the decapitation, at least three levels down, of its military and political leadership. He also squeezed Iran’s economy so much that the nearly worthless rial (1,300,000 to the dollar) is now effectively worthless. Iran’s wartime industries have been severely damaged. Iran’s proxies have been reduced in effectiveness and most of the Arabs in the area have moved closer to the US.
