The foot’s a teeny bit better today. A little less swelling around the ankle and I’m able to put a little bit of weight on it. I can get around the house with one crutch but used both of them when I went to the store for more aspirin. Getting around is sloooooooow but at least I can get around.
I have an appointment for Monday to see an ortho doctor.
A friend had foot surgery last year and has one of those scooter thingies you keel on and push yourself around with your good foot. She’s going to let me borrow it. That should make life a little easier.

Hey there, radu!
Yes, it was a total nightmare here. It did reach 108 with a hot wind that was...and still is at 93...like a torch. Not much better tomorrow and again on Sunday and Monday. We all feel like the energy has totally been sucked out of our bodies.
I’m so glad your foot is a bit better. Sounds like you’re going to heal fairly quickly. That scooter thing sounds perfect. I can just see the cats’ faces when you first scoot around the room. LOL! I’m sure glad you didn’t have any issues getting to and from the store.
