Nithya Raman continued to gain ground on Spencer Pratt in the latest vote tally released Thursday as the pair battle for second place in the race for mayor.

Though the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's Office will continue counting ballots for the next two weeks, Mayor Karen Bass' comfortable lead led the Associated Press to conclude that the incumbent had secured her place in the November runoff on election night.

Still to be determined is who will face off against Bass in November.

The registrar's office released another round of ballot-count results on Thursday afternoon, which showed Bass with 35.08% of the vote, Pratt with 29.35% and progressive Councilwoman Nithya Raman with 23.42%.

It’s a feature not a bug.

The DNC machine runs California. Others have gotten on me for the need for serious action on CA to save the whole state and country, but they seem to be all weak about it.

The Kalifornia democRATs/DemoKKKrats will keep “counting” until the desired result is obtained. THEN, ALL “COUNTING” WILL CEASE, and any other outstanding, uncounted ballots will........

This is a city election (for the Los Angeles mayor’s office).
How long does the post office take to move mail from one part of Los Angeles to the ballot counting office of Los Angeles? There is something suspicious about taking a week to move mail within a city.

“Nithya Raman continued to gain ground on Spencer Pratt in the latest vote tally released Thursday.” Republicans don’t gain votes in recounts in California.

Of course Raman Noodles gained votes. This goes without saying. It’s like declaring that water is wet.

They’re still counting in Iowa.

It’s ‘a mess’: Democratic results slow to come in

It's not a federal election so it's like whatever.

But if it was a federal election, they should announce the winner in 24 hours. Otherwise, we will not recognize federal representation from California until they clean up their elections.

Thus you are seeing the new established normal going forward. 60 Minutes can explain how it works, perhaps.

Ramen puts the rat in Democrat:

There are reasons why her votes come in at the last minute.

I took my time voting for Mitt Romney.

The CA corruption agency is working 24 hours per day to make sure CA ends up with an acceptable outcome...

I’m hoping that, once the smoke clears, DJT will set the DOGE hounds on the whole process...

Back the hounds up with 5,000 Pendleton (locked and loaded) Marines...
