America Is Losing a War it Hasn’t Even Named Yet
New York Post ^ | May 24, 2026 | Iulia Lupse

Scroll through any social media platform long enough and you’ll notice something that doesn’t quite add up. The same talking points, phrasing, and sudden outrage cycles are appearing across completely different audiences at the same time. It feels coordinated. And that’s because it often is.

Foreign adversaries have turned modern technology into a new kind of warfare, one the United States hasn’t fully named, hasn’t clearly assigned ownership of, and isn’t yet equipped to fight at the speed it’s being waged.

This is something more insidious than traditional espionage: the deliberate, systematic manipulation of how millions of Americans perceive reality—their leaders, their institutions, each other. China calls it the “cognitive domain,” a formal military concept treating perception itself as a battlefield alongside land, sea, air, cyber, and space. Russia, meanwhile, just hiked funding for state media by 54% for 2026, even as it cut overall military spending. That money doesn’t stay on Russian screens. It bankrolls RT, Sputnik, and a sprawling network of proxies, bots, autonomous AI agents, and synthetic media engineered to reach Americans through social media and narrative laundering, at near-zero cost.

They’ve had since 1979 to declare a war on Iran. Iran, on the other hand, has been at war with us. Kind of like dealing with the DEMs. They have been at war with Republicans and Americans in general for several decades, but the middle and the right just shrug like the problem with disappear over time.

I think Ho Chi Minh figured this about 60 years ago.

OK boys and girls. We need to up the op tempo and drop every ounce of ordinance where it will do the most damage.

That’s my fault. I’m the guy that gives official “code names” to government operations. I’ve fallen behind on my lists.

From the snippet it looks like it has something to do with Russian propaganda.

The article is just Russia Russia Russia repackaged.

Meanwhile the article sources from The BBC.

RT and the BBC are the same. The BBC is government propaganda funded by government. RT is government propaganda funded by government.

The author is engaging in a blatant hypocrisy.

Obama opened the cyber warfare by allowing govt. propaganda to be allowed in broadcast mediums by removing Smith-Mundt law and by creating work around NGOs to get by the direct funding rules.

Western media opened the door to these outlets by destroying their own credibility. They deliberately misled us, openly sided with the left and foreign influences, outright lied to us, and told us we were the enemy. Conservative media is mostly a clown show that has failed to take advantage of the leftist media’s incompetence. Without this opportunity, the propaganda outlets of our adversaries would never have gained significant influence over our opinions and politics. Yet the MSM continues to gaslight us every day.

They’ve had since 1979 to declare a war on Iran.

But, they haven't.

What, in your mind, is the purpose of having Congress declare war?

A lot of this is “outrage fuel”: the constant posting of infuriating and anger inducing news items designed to keep people angry when they have no way to do anything about it. This is rampant here on FR whether it’s subject is politics, the Church, race, crime, perverted behavior, endless and futile wars, you name it. The negative stories may be true, but the constant barrage of them through social media is unnatural. The object is to do one of two things: cause people to lose hope, or turn on our government and each other and settle into a permanent state of anger and despair. This goes beyond simply being informed or entertained. This is how people become bitter, cynical, and hateful old men and women, but at an accelerated pace.

It's a poorly written article, and even worse poorly presented, because it is written in a cliche type style of reporting, instead of clear laanguage. As best as I can get right now is the war of propagnada.

But I have to admit, that is just a best guuuess at this point, because I will have to devote more time to reading it, and disecting it into language I understand to be certain what this article is really talking about.
