The rumor on the street is that this shooting was part of an ongoing Somali clan war. If you look online, countless MN-based accounts are saying this “war” has been going on for a while and it’s tearing apart St. Paul.
Maybe not so “atypical” after all, eh?

In the valleys there are dairy farms. Which is why Cabot and Ben & Jerrys are located there.
Burlington is the largest city. Bernie got his start there as mayor. It is on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain. Overlooking the Adirondacks to the west.
There are two colleges in Burlington.
It used to be a beautiful small city/college town on the lake.
It is now a drug infested sh#t hole.
Where the smell of marijuana is all over on the streets of downtown. Drugs are sold openly in downtown. Not just pot. Heroin/fentanyl, etc. There are drug addicts and homeless everywhere downtown.
The people who now control that drug trade are the Somali immigrants. Yet, the various Somali clans fight/kill each other to maintain control of that drug distribution. They routinely kill each other. So much so that it has increased the murder rate/per capita in the state of Vermont. Yet, on average Vermont has the LOWEST CRIME RATE in the USA. That is because VT is the WHITEST(CAUCASIAN) population percentage in the USA. Maine and NH are second and third in Crackers(Caucasians and lowest crime rates).
The Somali population has single handily increased the homicide rate in the state of VT that it is one of the higher homicide rates in the country. This is because the population of VT is 648K.
