The conscienceless monster that is left-wing political violence has a voracious appetite. And the Trump-hating media are feeding it.
A new Rasmussen Reports poll finds a majority of likely U.S. voters — 60 percent — believes that the constant barrage of negative coverage of President Donald Trump likely contributed to the latest assassination attempt. The national telephone and online survey of 1,076 Americans, conducted April 27-29, shows 41 percent of those surveyed think it “very likely” the media’s one-sided treatment had some influence. A mere 13 percent of respondents said it’s “not at all likely” that the media has some culpability.
As media watchdog Newsbusters reported, the poll numbers include 45 percent of voters identifying as Democrats believe it’s likely the Trump-loathing media inspired the attack, with nearly 4 out of 5 Republicans saying the same.
“For most of us, it was here we go again,” Tim Graham, Executive Editor of Newsbusters, told me on a recent episode of The Federalist Radio Hour podcast. Sadly, he said, the latest assassination attempt did not come as a surprise. Corporate media created an environment leading up to the widely anticipated get-together of the self-important D.C. journalists and members of the Trump administration.
“In the lead up to this there was such screeching about a permission structure for fascism,” Graham said. “They have talked about Trump for the last 10 years in such a hyperbolic way.” ‘Centrist’ Radical
Cole Allen, 31, is facing charges of attempting to assassinate the president and cabinet members after bursting into and firing a gun at last month’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The California teacher, according to prosecutors, wrote an anti-Trump manifesto filled with the watchwords of the radical left — the Marxist dogma of the “oppressor” and the “oppressed.”
Incredibly, the liberal twits at NPR (thankfully no longer subsidized by our tax dollars) published a piece obtusely headlined, “With no radical footprint, what drove suspect to try and assassinate Trump?” Allen’s sister told the U.S. Secret Service that her brother was known to make “radical” comments, as the NPR piece notes. The fatuous news outlet quoted an online threat-tracking “expert” who insisted Allen’s social media profiles are “really not that radical at all … Oftentimes it’s like quite centrist, pretty moderate wing, if anything.” Apparently NPR’s expert believes Allen’s “centrist” views include “conspiracy theories related to Trump and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein,” as WION reported. Allen reshared posts comparing Trump to Hitler, a staple talking point of the Trump Derangement Syndrome crowd, and posts calling for the Republican’s 2024 election victory to be nullified, according to CNN.
Allen appeared to be all over leftist social media, raving about Trump, his policies and his administration.
“Put a traitor BACK in office, get treason like, I don’t understand why people are surprised by the US ripping itself apart,” Allen, apparently posting on Bluesky under the user name “coldforce,” wrote. “I’m pretty sure that’s the expected outcome of having a traitor at the helm.”
It appeared the suspected, would-be assassin was on an escalating trajectory. ‘Because of the Things They Say About Me’
Allen didn’t need to go to Marxism summer camp to become radicalized. He, like his fellow Americans, have been steeped in the visceral hatred of Trump that corporate media have been churning out for more than a decade.
In December 2016, after Trump surprised the political establishment to win his first presidential term, and as the Obama administration and the deep state were launching a soft coup against the incoming president, The New York Times opined, “Is Donald Trump a Threat to Democracy?”
Less than a month before the 2020 presidential election, the same newspaper railed that Trump, seeking a second term, was “the greatest threat to American democracy since World War II.” The Times’ editorial board laughably insisted that it did not “lightly indict a duly elected president,” after spending nearly four years assisting in the attempt to topple his presidency.
Throughout Trump’s triumphant run for a second nonconsecutive term, a feat matched by only one other U.S. president, The New York Times, the Washington Post, the rabid leftists at the old MSNBC, and the rest of their ilk cranked up the “Trump is worse than Hitler” talking points. There was a high price to pay for the hyperbolic narrative.
“I probably took a bullet to the head because of the things they say about me,” Trump said during the media-rigged presidential debate in September 2024 featuring the Democrats’ undemocratically installed candidate Kamala Harris. He was talking about the overheated rhetoric coming from Democrats, but the indictment covers the left’s communications division as well.
Trump was right then — just a couple months after a gunman shot him in the ear, killed another man and seriously injured two more during a campaign stop in Butler, Penn. Peter Baker, The Times’ White House correspondent, blamed Trump and his “rhetoric” for being the target of an assassins’ bullet.
Things have only deteriorated since that violent day in July 2024. The Rasmussen survey finds 71 percent of likely U.S. voters say the problem of political violence in America is getting worse, with just 8 percent seeing the problem getting better. ‘Darkest Days’
More than a year into Trump 2.0, Newsbusters’ analyses show the major broadcast news players continue to slather their newscasts with negative coverage of Trump and his administration — at a clip of 90 percent or more.
The New York Times and their partners in the corrupt and corrupting media have blood on their hands. They clearly don’t care. The mission isn’t to consider what they’re doing, it’s to get rid of the man they’ve defined as democracy’s biggest threat. These “journalists” wrote the patently false narratives of the Russia collusion hoax, the Hollywood-like scripts behind the impeachments, the lies behind the indictments, the propaganda for the prosecutions. And yes, they have fueled the fires of the epidemic of left-wing political violence targeting Trump and those who dare support the idea of restoring America to its promise of greatness.
“The problem here is that not only does the media repeat, ‘You’re a fascist,’ ‘You’re a pedophile,’ You’re a rapist’, some of these terms that [CBS News senior correspondent] Norah O’Donnell threw right in Trump’s face …” Newsbusters’ Graham said. But there’s no fact-checking in real time, or any time, to push back on the accomplice media’s spin and lies to remind the American news consumer of the insanity in comparing the president of the United States to a man who oversaw the murder of six million Jews, Graham said.
And Cole Allen seemed to breathe all of that politically toxic air, buying fully into the narrative the left-bending corporate media have sold.
On his trip from his metro Los Angeles home to Washington D.C. just a few days before the attack on the WHCD, Allen reportedly read an article on his phone headlined, “Trump’s Plans for ‘Mic-Drop’ Media Confrontation Are Leaked: The president is planning a rage-fueled moment at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.” The story appeared in the leftist rage-baiting rag, The Daily Beast.
“Had the defendant achieved his intended outcome, he would have brought about one of the darkest days in American history,” a prosecutor in the case wrote.
Would it be such a “dark day” to the political hate spewers in the accomplice media?

Comey must be executed for inciting assassination of the President.
I blame the Democrats. Get to the root cause, not the method they use.
