Promoters of assisted suicide always couch their arguments in the language of compassion for those suffering from terminal illness, and 11 US states also permit assisted suicide, all of them except for Montana being dominated by the Democratic Party. This practice always has been couched in the language of “death with dignity,” and it generally has strong support from the political left ...

... what began as a way ostensibly to end the suffering of terminally ill people has morphed into a program responsible for one in 20 Canadian deaths, with more than 100,000 people killed since the program began a decade ago, as Canada’s government did away with the requirements that only those with terminal illnesses could request doctor-assisted suicide.

Thus timmy waltz likes national health care.
Assisted Suicide ...whether you need it or not!..................
Assisted Suicide ...whether you need it or not!..................
Canada has legalized post-natal abortion up to the age of 100! So liberal!
Right to Die = Duty to Die
:: national health care ::
And will lead to the government du jour making diagnoses based on political grounds.
Which will lead to euthanizing the mentally incorrigible.
And wrong-think will be their reason for euthanizing anyone.
“Right to Die = Duty to Die”
Exactly, in particular with ‘government’ ‘health care’. Need to cull the herd in order to better provide for ‘the children’, doncha know...
Yes...also ONLY DEMOCRATS WILL GET CARE!
“Maybe there’s a pill for that.”
Remember when leftists laughed at Sarah Palin when she said Obamacare and the leftist push for nationalized health-care would lead to “death panels?”
How correct she was.....
America went from Roe v Wade to now…this… Darkness begets darkness.
The Catholic Church’s “consistent ethic of life” applies here: from womb to tomb. From conception (no birth control, no IVF) to natural death…(including no death penalty.)
Controversial, maybe. But to me it’s the inly framework that works.
Fixed.
Assisted suicide is the logical outcome of depopulationists who despise useless eaters.
Suicide is a mortal sin
Hell awaits those who participate.
When I was 7 (1960) I was dying of viral hepatitis.
The doctor pumped me full of penicillin, which left me sterile. I was in the hospital so long I had to learn to walk again when it was over
One day the doctor told my mom she should stay with me, as I wasn’t going to make it.
Late that night Jesus came into my room (my mom couldn’t see him)
He was holding the hands of two boys who died while in my room.
The next morning, all of my symptoms were gone. My doctor was making his rounds and expected my room to be empty, but I was on my knees holding on to the bed rail. He came in and said it was a miracle, that nothing he had done had helped me.
I guess I saw heaven.
Commit suicide, go to Hell.
oops typo. only* not inly. :)
How can we know whether an “assisted suicide” was , in fact voluntary? Many patients, in signing the myriad forms they have to go through for the government have signed something they did not peruse thoroughly enough to understand that they are requesting the service which would be effected at the doctor’s whim when the patient is in hospital for a medical problem. It is a neat way to reduce costs to the government as it is cheaper than long treatments and hospital stays.
How long will it take to go from assisted to compulsory?
