President Trump lashed out at Iran’s handling of the Strait of Hormuz since the two-week cease-fire came into force – claiming “That is not the agreement we have!”
“Iran is doing a very poor job, dishonorable some would say, of allowing oil to go through the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Thursday.
The vital waterway, through which 20% of the world’s oil passes daily, has effectively been closed since the US and Israel launched their first attacks on Iran as part of “Operation Epic Fury” on Feb. 28.
One of the tankers was hauling one million barrels of oil, another hadn’t been loaded, and no data was provided for the third tanker.
Tehran agreed to reopen the Strait under the 10-point ceasefire plan, which Washington described as “workable,” but Iranian officials have claimed they plan to charge vessels $2 million to pass through, the New York Times reported.
They said the money would be used to rebuild infrastructure damaged by the US and Israel.
Trump warned Iran to stop charging vessels if it is doing so.

Trump sitting at 30% approval should’ve been the wake‑up call. He still doesn’t grasp how deeply Americans reject the neocon foreign‑policy gospel preached by Mark Levin, Laura Loomer, and Lindsey Graham. And those midterms? We warned you, didn’t we.
I figure Iran is still still trying to extract million dollar Jizya tax tolls, from oil tankers bound for rich infidels of Japan Taiwan South Korea. While CCP land oil rides for free.

Their oil is mostly in the gulf and near shore. It should be easy to take and hold it but their subs, missiles and drones will need to be dealt with first.

We all don’t want this to be true, but in the end our intuition leads us to your conclusion. I don’t want to build or help rebuild anything in Iran when it’s over.
Aside from the evil intent and just lying of Iranian mullahs, culturally, Arabs and Persians (and everyone else in the Middle East — except Jews) don’t believe in honoring contracts or deals.
Your signed contract is just the start of the negotiation.
I generally refuse to do business with them more complicated than “buy x that I immediately take” for “y cash” now. And even then the cheat.
If the things going on right now are ‘Not the agreement we have’, then you don’t have an agreement.

Never really was an agreement, the two sides terms demands were wildly different...PDJT basically said “we are talking to/negotiating with Iran thru Pakistan and Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz so I am declaring a ceasefire for 2 weeks”.
Iran basically said “no thanks” to the Hormuz part.

Trump has said they've been looking into methods for running again, and I can imagine some scenarios where he'd be on firm Constitutional grounds to do so. As for his age, I think he's in fine shape. He's more fit for office than Biden was in 2020.

And my conclusion is from 20+ years experience with multiple ME countries. If you want honorable dealings and accountability YOU HAVE TO DO IT. Westerners have a Big Plus dealing with ME Muslims. They trust us more than each other. Literally.
I can tell you right now the reason they are ‘acting chaotic’ is because there are ongoing power struggles, aka shootings, assassinations, kidnappings, hostage takings etc. The Sopranos are choir boys compared to Arab Muslim power struggles.
In a power vacuum the one with the most power has defacto control. You’ve seen the blustering and bravado from the Arabs. That’s their saying “I’m the top guy, you deal with me” But in this case it’s Trump.
