These 20 Republicans Are Pushing For an Amnesty. Is Your Congressman on the List?

A contingent of House Democrats and Republicans have banded together to advance an amnesty bill that they definitely want you to think is not actually an amnesty. 20 Republicans so far have joined in as co-sponsors on the bill, betraying the agenda of the Trump administration and the will of the electorate.

@realBrandonGill

Make no mistake about it: The so-called 'Dignity Act' is amnesty.

It gives amnesty to any illegal alien that crossed the border before 2021, any illegal married to a U.S.citizen, and also massively expands visas—-including permanent residence for F-1 international students.

It would bring mass deportations to an essential halt as illegal aliens flood the courts with their 'dignity' claims whether they're eligible or not.

Any Republican supporting this is supporting amnesty and betraying the voters that elected them.

[other X posts]

This bill would create a “pathway to legal status” for those who illegally entered the country and successfully evaded deportation before 2021. Illegals would simply have to prove that they have no criminal record (other than, you know, breaking federal law to enter the country illegally) and pay $1,000 to gain legal status. They would then be allowed to remain in the United States for another seven years with legal status.

Of course, after that legal status ends, there are no means to prevent them from simply overstaying. And with the birthright citizenship executive order on life-support, those with newfound legal status would have seven years of impunity to give birth to new American “citizens.” One co-sponsor of the bill even admitted that the pathway to citizenship is coming down the road, and that this bill essentially exists to by illegals time so that they can get to the finish line. But again, these people REALLY want you to believe that this isn't an amnesty.

Watch out for an amnesty betrayal cloaked as a "dignity" bill.

Useless jerks.

Please explain to me why I should give a crap about the mid-terms?

These weak Republicans are as guilty of the waste and fraud we are seeing as any Dem. They do zero oversight which is their job.

23 year old Nick Shirley has more intelligence and integrity than all of them combined.

The usual suspects. Don’t bother telling them to go to hell, they’d just give the ones down there amnesty too.

It would get veto’d (and they know this, so theyre hedging for political points in event of a midterm majority switch).

Get rid of them in primaries, but we need both houses of Congress to have any hope.

The great replacement will not be stopped now matter how we vote. Thats why I know the Supreme Court will rule against Trump on birthright citizenship.

“...successfully evaded deportation before 2021...”

If they successfully evaded capture for 5 years and not get into the radar, then why would they turn themselves in, pay money to stay, and most likely lose the income they were making from welfare and grants with free housing in some locations? Adult sponges do not swim.

I have never understood why dissatisfaction with some of the Republicans justifies a “F it let the rats get back in power” attitude.

Rep. Jennifer A. Kiggans (VA-2)

Surprise ‼️ , not really

Kiggans replaced J6’er Luria, not too much difference there .

J6’er Luria is trying to regain her old seat , a pox on both of them.

Both of them are Swampers.

“It would get veto’d (and they know this, so theyre hedging for political points in event of a midterm majority switch).”

Most of these 20 are in full panic mode.

Dunn, Bacon and Newhouse are retiring, so this their “FU” as they walk out the door.

Kiggans is 100% certain to lose in November if the Democrat Virginia gerrymander passes and 75% certain to lose even if it doesn’t. Roughly the same numbers apply to Valadao (victim of CA gerrymander).

Lawler is scum and he is as good as gone.

Nunn is probably toast, as are Fitzpatrick and Evans. Salazar is liberal scum, like Lawler, but she’s 50-50 to hold on.

Stutzman, Baird & to some extent Smucker are all supposed to be good conservatives in safe districts so who knows what the hell their motivation is here. Idiocy? Check their bank accounts.

Kelly is a squish in a relatively safe district. He could drown in a “blue” wave though.

And every stupid move by Republicans — like this one — brings that wave ever closer to inevitability, if it wasn’t inevitable already. Piss off the base, which will stay home in November, and embolden the worst elements of society. Bravo.

My weasel rep Neal Dunn (FL-2) isn’t running for reelection, so he let it all out with support for illegals. Spit.

“and successfully evaded deportation before 2021.”

Does that mean a deport order was never issued or that they knew there was a deportation order but managed to delay or outright ignore the court order? Either way why should that be included in the grounds for any amnesty? And why before 2021?

The only amnesty I would find defensible would be for those who can show they’ve not ever been on the dole and that they can show they have been paying taxes for at least 10 years and they at least tried at some point to gain legal status. Both of those guys should be allowed to stay.

Please explain to me why I should give a crap about the mid-terms?

Good question but I'd reframe it.

Why should anyone give a crap about the Republican wing of the uniparty?

Don't have an answer as I have not been emotionally invested in the uniparty for decades.

Come November I will go to the polls and vote straight Republican as I have always done for state and federal offices.

Why?

If for no other reason it gives me license to criticize my captors.

Because that is what I have been most of my life a hostage to the Republican wing of the uniparty who believes the lesser of two evils is the best choice when the choice is binary.
