Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger’s approval rating stands at 47 percent two months into the Democrat’s term, with 46 percent of voters disapproving and 7 percent expressing no opinion in a Washington Post-Schar School poll.
Spanberger won in a 15-point landslide last year after touting her reputation for bipartisanship built on three terms representing a conservative-leaning district in Congress. But her current ratings reflect sharp polarization among Virginia voters in their views of the state’s first female governor.

And plenty of voters on the rolls in the states cemeteries.
WP sounds scared
Spanberger: Gollum, minus the charm...
She won by getting the votes of zillions of filthy, diseased migrant invaders sheltering in northern VA...
Same pattern we see over and over again in many countries.
They campaign as “moderates” but then they get in and implement radical leftist and structural changes which help them win future elections, and are mostly not reversed because the timid “conservatives” in these countries are too frightened.
See: Tusk, Donald; Starmer, Kier; Macron, Emmanuel; Scholz, Olaf; Trudeau, Justin; Biden, Joseph; Albanese, Anthony...
Yes! She also won thanks to that simpering do-nothing GOPer: Youngkin...
Well this is the pattern, isn’t it? A radical liberal pretends to be moderate and rides to power by fueling the Dem base’s hatred of Trump and aided and abetted by a media that does everything in its power to cover for them. Then the mask comes off and the low information voters see her for what she really is and complain. But guess what? It doesn’t matter because she has four years until the next election to wreak havoc and impose a radical agenda on the state. Then in four years, they do it all over again and the low information voters forget what they were mad about and vote for the Dem again because the media once again makes the Dem out to be a moderate and the Republican out to be a radical.
The chickens are coming home to roost for the hard left. It can't deal with the truth.
Unfortunately for the Left, the currency of reality is da truth.
My first response, when I saw the title, was “Dah!” I still think Virginia ought to give the northern part of the state to Maryland. Then the rest of the state would be almost all red.
Then build a wall.
And the GOP could not have put up a worse candidate for Governor. Plus Spanberger came across as a level headed, middle of the road person. I hope that lie is put down forever for democrats.
So was the black lady
I doubt that mattered - a candidate that supported murdering political opponents and their children and fantasized about watching the kids die in their mother’s arms was also elected by the same voters.
She probably won through voter fraud.
“Abigail?”
Like Mamdani. Just flat out lied his a&& off. Said whatever he had to in order to get elected, without caring a whit about whether he could make good on his promises.
Now the voters are all upset. Ha ha.
Winsome?
Just goes to show how pissed the gov employees were at the Republicans “Politics needs an enemy “ and the Dems are pros at inciting hatred.
Republicans’ Red Scare has now become like crying wolf too often. Guess they’re gonna find out the hard way and we’re gonna bail them out again. Enjoy the decline America. Sorry
And she still has a net positive approval. Granted, it is only 1 point, but still...after everything she has done and has tried to do, that’s how far gone the Old Dominion now is.
