The French president said that the objective is not to be the vassals of two hegemonic powers
PARIS, April 3. /TASS/. During his visit to South Korea, French President Emmanuel Macron called for the formation of a "coalition of independence" to counter the unpredictability of the US and the alleged hegemony of China.
"I think our objective is not to be the vassals of two hegemonic powers. None of these hegemonic powers, I would say. And we don’t want to depend on the dominance of, let’s say, China, nor do we want to be too much exposed to the unpredictability of the US. Having such an agenda shared by [South] Korea, France, and bringing with us the other Europeans, Canada, Japan, India, Brazil, Australia, you start having a sort of third way," Macron said during a meeting with students at Seoul’s Yonsei University.
Commenting on the current US policy, the French president emphasized that countries bearing the greatest responsibility have begun to threaten the international order themselves.
Earlier, Macron stated in an interview with Japan’s NHK TV channel that France does not intend to tolerate "either Chinese or American hegemony" and wants to reduce its dependence on major powers.

Note that, if it weren’t for the US, Herr Macron would be speaking German.
Whatever. Macron gets beat up by a woman.
Let’s work with Hungary and Poland and tell the Euroweenies to buzz off.
A coalition of what? Countries that spend on average less than 1% of their GDP on military spending because their social spending is so large that it crowds out all other spending and there is no political will to cut it back? Countries like that can talk all they want about creating a coalition but all it is is talk.
I would take this more seriously if Macron didn’t allow his granny, dominatrix wife to physically abuse and beat him regularly.
Unlike other countries in Western Europe, France is the only country with a military.
Speaking German in France is preferable to the languages being spoken there today.
Says the guy who is opening up France to its ancient enemy as if they will be good boys this time around.
In reality, Europe, Canada, and Australia haven’t been allies of the US for at least a decade. The EU is a globalist entity which hates its own people. So is the government of Canada. So are the governments of Australia and New Zealand. It’s time to face reality.
HE NEEDS THAT REMINDER
I know! They can call it the European Union! 👶
Especially if you’re a gay nazi.
Yup.
Agreed.
You could call it the European Union?
Note that, if it weren’t for the US, Herr Macron would be speaking German.

Please note that in the modern era, this history is as dead as the history of the roman republic and roman empire.
Exactly.
Unless you count the UK.
