Ukraine signed a defense cooperation pact with Saudi Arabia on Friday, as Gulf countries look to Kyiv for assistance on defending against drone attacks from Iran.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the agreement with senior Saudi officials during his two-day visit to Riyadh.

The accord "lays the foundation for future contracts, technological cooperation, and investment. It also strengthens Ukraine’s international role as a security donor," Zelenskyy announced Friday morning.

"We are ready to share our expertise and systems with Saudi Arabia and to work together to strengthen the protection of lives. Now into the fifth year, Ukrainians are resisting the same kind of terrorist attacks — ballistic missiles and drones — that the Iranian regime is currently carrying out in the Middle East and the Gulf region," Zelenskyy added.

"Saudi Arabia also has capabilities that are of interest to Ukraine, and this cooperation can be mutually beneficial," he said, without specifying details.

Would like to see the "sale" price.

And I can't believe that we can't duplicate it or better in 7-10 days.

Of course they used OUR money to develop it.

Ukraine continues to impress the World

Russia continues to disappoint

(as Russian casualties climb, so does the probability that Putin will get whacked by one of his own people)

The Saudi's aren't dummies.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman is moving to diversify Saudi Arabia away from a oil-only economy, and Ukraine has lots of natural resources. The Saudi Royal family has a net worth around a trillion and a half USD and lots of business investments and industry partners. That would be useful for rebuilding Ukraine, in exchange for defense from Iranian drones and defensive applicable to Saudi needs.

Politically, the Middle Easts is in general is moving past the perpetual Palestinian Crisis and is fed with Iran as the regions perpetual trouble maker for the last fifty years. It is easy to see how the Saudis are looking at possible long term political realignments.

In losing

The fact that multiple countries (including the US) are in talks with Ukraine, wanting to acquire their drone technology, suggests that you're lying

(We realize that the truth is hard for Russia Cheerleaders to accept)

Good!
Now Zelensky can start paying us back off the proceeds he receives from the Saudis.

Ukraine IS already paying back the US, by sharing their drone expertise.

Plus, Ukraine continues to tie down most of Russia’s military resources, which Russia would otherwise be sending to Iran.

So maybe you should give Ukraine some thanks?

Iran just destroyed an E-3 early warning aircraft (AWACS) in Saudi Arabia, worth $270 million ... thanks to Russian targeting info.

Very interesting that you never criticize Putin.
