Some analysts say the economic effects of Operation Epic Fury in Iran could persist for years, even after the strikes end.
Oil prices have climbed since Operation Epic Fury began, with WTI crude futures closing at $98.32 on Friday, up more than $30 from $67.02 on Feb. 27 — the day before the conflict with Iran began — according to Investing.com.
“Productive capacity will be offline for an uncomfortably long time, meaning energy prices are likely to fall much slower than they rose,” Kyle Rodda, a senior analyst for the online trading platform Capital.com, told Axios, referring to an Israeli attack on Iranian oil and gas production facilities.

Of course the effects will be felt for years. The effects will be good. The negative effects of the evil Iranian terrorist Theocracy have been felt for decades.
Now it will be gone, or, at minimum, rendered toothless and broke.
Pinhead analysts don’t know shite from shinola
Gee. What would the economic shocks be of a nuclear Iran with control of the Straight of Hormuz and projecting regional control over oil?
Economic shocks have been going on in Iran and Venezuela for many years under muslim control is next,,,,NYC is next in line thanks to the dems.
Analysist doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Oil will be in 60 by Friday.
The shock from the Dems keeping the shutdown going is even more devastating. What’s wrong with them besides basic stupidity.
Earth will be swallowed up by the million times bigger sun as it slowly morphs into a red giant same as all other stars in universe.
In the meanwhile, cherish the few years of life on a rare planet capable of supporting life. Most other planets are too close or too far from their Sun and are too small or too big to capture and retail air in breathable form.
Forget the fantasy of reaching other planets. Distance between our nearest solar system in milky way galaxy is just too much. A big dark space between with no light energy to capture with solar panels.
Never said a word about expensive fuel during Obama & Biden. They were on the right side of history making us a ‘renewable energy’ country.
We’d be so much better off with another 47 years of threats, terrorism, delivery of pallets of cash and kowtowing to the cultic goat humpers in Iran
The long term effect of closing the Iranian loony bin will be hugely positive.
Libertarians would say 47 more years of bending over to Iranian goat bumpers is better.
Right Jim! Gas was always near and over $5 here during Obama’s third term. They even drained our oil reserves to artificially lower prices before the election. Media didn’t give a rats ass about it either. Sure would have come in handy about now!

It’s agenda-driven analysis. They don’t have to know shiite. In fact, it’s better for them if they don’t — less cognitive dissonance to disturb their sleep.
Up like a rocket, down like a feather. Fuel here went up about 25 percent in about 4 days. It must have been all those drone strikes at Pruhoe Bay and the Kenai Peninsula. Or gee, could it have been the scumbag futures traders again?
Analists. Ya gotta love them. They are smarter than you.
Didn’t these same experts claim last year that tariffs would crash the economy? Doom and gloom sells.
Some analysts say is the same as believing a ground hog is suitable for weather forecasting.
You cherry pick the results to get what you want to say.
And it’s all bull
Are these the same analysts that predicted that “shelves would be empty” because of tariffs?
When it doesn’t happen they’ll be “surprised” and “unexpected”.
