A new study published in Scientific Reports suggests that the connection between a young adult’s cognitive ability and their future socioeconomic status is largely driven by their genes. The findings provide evidence that genetic factors play a larger role in educational and occupational success than environmental conditions. This underlying biology may help explain why some social interventions aimed at reducing inequality tend to fall short over the long term.

The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life
Oh-oh... is that racist? They talking about white people?
No shit. Jesus Christ you retards are wildly committed to the denial of the obvious.
Israel is a perfect example. They started off on a clean slate and gave everyone equal wealth.
Then over time it started distributing unequally.
I guess you low-IQ idiots don’t recognize sarcasm!
Well, there are hoarders/savers/spenders/overspenders.
Racists proven right yet again
IMO, it’s more epigenetic than genetic.
Definitely heritable though.
A great study and resulting book, both unfairly maligned by the racial grievance complex.
Some say that being ultra smart is the strongest determining factor for achieving success and wealth.
I tend to believe that emotional intelligence is perhaps the stronger factor for success and wealth in business, sales, family and politics, too.
A high IQ person who doesn’t mesh well with others is not formula for success. A person with an average IQ, but with a high EQ likely will do better.
What a shock. Who knew?
Since the 60’s I’ve proposed to anyone who would listen that we should be paying these boys $100 per IQ point under 90 multiplied by the number of years they have been alive -60 (x-1). Hence a 24 year old at 87 IQ would get 3 times 36 x $100 or $9600 for get a vasectomy.
Another study to confirm what every one has known since the dawn of humanity.

Disagree, IQ is raw problem solving power and pattern recognition which applies to interpersonal relationships as well.
EQ is just a subset of IQ. The bumbling genius is a tv trope, not reality.
