Iran continues to launch hundreds of drones towards the Gulf nations, including new rounds of attacks on Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain over the last few days.

“13 drones [were] downed east of Riyadh city and eight [were] destroyed upon entering Saudi airspace.” The report added, “Drone attacks continue despite an apology given by Iranian officials to Gulf states.”

Additionally, “Saudi Arabia’s air defenses neutralized a fresh wave of drone attacks on Sunday

Iran also targeted Aramco’s Shaybah oil field with 21 drones.

on Saturday, Saudi defenses intercepted five ballistic missiles launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj

The UAE is also being targeted with around 120 drones a day. Reports said on Saturday that 121 drones targeted the UAE, and one got through, landing near the airport.

An earlier report on Thursday had said that three missiles and 120 drones targeted the UAE. This means Iran has attempted to maintain a daily barrage against the UAE. This has included around a dozen ballistic missiles a day and dozens of drones.

How big are the Iranian stockpiles? I would imagine they have to be running low and their factories have been flattened.

i think the limiting factor for missile attacks are the launchers, and estimates range 70-90% destroyed, with maybe 100-150 still functional ...

it doesn’t take much to launch a drone and Iran seems to be able to launch quite few of these against their neighbors and persian gulf shipping ...

I don’t understand why they’ve sat there and taken it this long. Could the US have asked them to stay out so as not to add clutter the aerial battlefield?

Exactly. I know they are pussies but do they not understand how deterrence works after living with Israel for 75 years?

To repeat from the latest Mitch Rapp novel (and the Untouchables): It is the Chicago way. They hit you, you hit them back harder.

Iran is now going after the desalination plants, which are an existential threat to many of these countries. The appropriate response is to send a squadron of planes to knock out Iran’s export facilities. And then indicate that the next wave will hit the oil production facilities.

I hope that it is finally clear to the world what Iran would have done if they had nukes. I think their reaction against everyone, friend and foe alike makes it abundantly clear what would have eventually happened had we not stepped in and cleaned up this mess.

If those cheap Ukie anti-drone drones are fairly effective, Ukraine may be able to make a financial killing by licensing them out for quick mass production to go to the Gulf States...

That said, the equivalent of WW2 Japanese Zeros would be quite effective, too, if the hundreds of pilots can be found. Luckily for the Gulf Countries, crop dusting here in the US is mostly “off season” right now. Now, what guy flying that gig wouldn’t want to try out a 2026 version Japanese Zero?

The Arabs have seen a lot of war in their lifetime. Things have blown up, missiles have hit buildings. This is an Arab way of life. They will figure out a brutal way to handle this. And it won’t involve a random missile floating toward Iran. Arabs punish people. They don’t send messages.

From a spiritual perspective, Iran’s attacks on other muslim nations — ostensibly, their “fellow travelers” — are to me one of the most interesting and illuminating views into what the mullahs are actually all about. Pure satanic evil, IOW. Even now I bet what’s left of them are in some bunker attempting to conjure up the 12th Imam or something.

It’s not really a matter of Arab Nations. It’s a matter of Sunni Nations.
