The Manassas Mosque, sandwiched in a strip mall just 30 miles from Washington, DC, is facing its own fight for survival after commemorating 'our leader' Ayatollah Ali Khamenei a day after he was killed in an airstrike in Tehran.
The Daily Mail has learned that the imam of the mosque Abolfazl Bahram Nahidian, who goes by Abu Nahidian, is trapped in Tehran with his wife.
'He's okay, but he wanted us to know that if anything happens to him, we should continue what we're doing here in the mosque,' Beyah said.
'Did he say we should retaliate for what is happening? No,' he continued. 'Did he say go and seek vengeance? No. He said continue doing what we already do. Pray, act with one another.'
The Virginia mosque has been bombarded with angry phone calls and death threats from people furious that they would celebrate the death of the repressive Supreme Leader, who demonized the United States as 'the Great Satan'.
Sitting beside a portrait of Khamenei hanging in the imam's office on Tuesday, Beyah told the Daily Mail that he's fielded some of those calls himself, and alerted Prince William County police, who sent a bomb-sniffing dog.
'That place needs to be blown up,' one male purportedly caller told him.
'He's there right now,' security guard T. Beyah told the Daily Mail. 'We received a call from them. You could actually hear the bombs from where he is. We had to cut the call short.
'Watch your back, you never know what's going to happen,' another warned.
Several GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill have joined the outcry against the Manassas Mosque, calling for the center's tax-exempt status to be revoked and for members to be denaturalized and deported.

Here in Northern Virginia, we have several mosques, muslim schools, and a CAIR office. I wouldn’t mind if all their members decided to flee to Iran.
That death seems delayed to me.
EVERY Muslim country strictly controls Islam in their own countries. Government bureaus decide who can preach, what islamic schools can teach, what books are published, etc....
They must do this because at its core, Islam is a political religion, which dictates all aspects of human and social life. Islam also lacks any agreed-upon central authority. Its nature is towards fundamentalism and radicalism.
With our 1st Amendment, controlling any religion is a concept completely alien to Americans
THEREFORE, as this case demonstrates, by allowing Islam to spread in the USA, we will get, the wild-weeds and radicals, as well as the islamic agents of foreign countries.
The USA simply does not grasp the danger it is facing by having Islam on its soil.
Well, as happened with them, this age of a “tolerant” America, and frankly the western peoples, is coming to an end. I hope they enjoyed it.
