Canteen Mission Statement
Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies' military and family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

This is how you handle terrorists! Students with the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program from Tolleson High School, Arizona, participate in a training exercise at the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The purpose of the visit was to give Marine Corps Junior ROTC students the opportunity to learn and experience different jobs or career paths they may choose in the Marine Corps. Picture of Food Being Served! Exciting, huh?!! U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Martin Ramirez, food service specialist, Combat Logistics Company 33, 3d Marine Logistics Group, prepares lobster during the Chef of the Quarter cook-off at Anderson Chow Hall, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Chef of the Quarter competitions allow food service specialists to hone their craft, while fostering competition and esprit de corps. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Terry Stennett III)
They tell us this is for assisting and not for getting better TV reception! U.S. Marines assigned to 12th Marines, 3d Marine Division, set up ground equipment to assist a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) training mission in support of Freedom Shield 23 at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Ground teams provide crucial support for the HIMAR, allowing advanced targeting and communication capabilities in assistance with planning and execution of combat mission requirements. Family Planning: A way to rid the Earth of Terrorists! Airman 1st Class Morgan Nguyen, a weapons loader assigned to the 149th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard, loads 20 millimeter ammunition into the F-16 Fighting Falcon during Coronet Cactus at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Coronet Cactus is an annual training event that takes members of the 149th Fighter Wing, headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, to Phoenix to participate in a simulated deployment exercise. (Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Derek Davis)
Until Every American is brought home, our search continues… U.S. Army Master Sgt. Anthonie Deyo, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Army senior enlisted advisor, is given a brief by U.S. Army Sergeant 1st Class Richard Soto, a DPAA recovery team sergeant, during a mission in Quang Binh Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. There are currently 1,579 missing Americans from the Vietnam War. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Michael O'Neal)
A moment of silence requested… U.S. flags sit on a table during a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) disinterment ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. Approximately 63 individuals were disinterred as part of the Enoura Maru project: an on-going effort by DPAA to disinter, transport, and identify missing POWs from World War II. The remains were taken to the DPAA laboratory on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for further scientific analysis and possible identification. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Blake Gonzales)

Please remember that The Canteen is here to support and entertain our troops and veterans and their families, and is family friendly.

Tel Aviv and Bahrain under attack! Sounds familiar, but it is not the first time in history that a nation has launched attacks on multiple cities in the Middle East. The first time was in 1940, during WWII, when the Royal Italian Air Force bombed Tel Aviv, Bahrain and many other strategic locations.

LOL! She’s right...either Kathy gives you a heads-up or you just knock her down in the doorway.
Of course, I’ve posted a bunch now, too, and I don’t know HOW you do it, but I laugh every time it happens. 🤣🤣
