Gavin Newsom launched a new water policy this week that does almost nothing for water. Perhaps he thinks it will help his nascent presidential campaign.
Newsom’s biggest weakness as a presidential candidate is his record. He cannot point to any major achievements after two terms. That’s the real drought his plan aims to address.
Newsom called his policy the “most ambitious water plan in California history.” If so, the obvious question is why he waited until the last months of his administration to launch it.

You know how they say a drug addict has to hit rock bottom before cleaning up their act? California is like that... headed towards oblivion unless they have a collective ‘aha’ moment regarding democrat leadership and policies.
Hard to believe that any thinking Californian would vote for Newsom, but apparently many did. Or did they? Maybe time will tell. In the meantime, many have decided that California politics won’t be their concern any longer. Is there a possibility that a big moving & storage company could make their fortune by moving in there? If they COULD move in.
