The “Sacred 20” were the first group of women to be commissioned as nurses in the Navy and were the founding members of the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, as well as some of the first women to serve as uniformed officers in the Navy as a whole. The tour served to honor the “Sacred 20’s” legacy, as well as the 248th birthday of the Navy. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Jonathan Nelson)

Nicer than here but a little too hot for comfort. It’s way too early for AC weather.

The temp isn’t dropping much tonight. It’s been sitting at 53 for a while and probably won’t drop more than a couple of degrees tonight. I walked out to the well house to unplug the heater and stayed out for a while, it felt nice enough.

I’m just not ready for heat ‘cause we’ll have enough of it this summer. Ugh.

After the lows you’ve been having, 53 probably seems almost balmy.

You haven’t had a lot of escape from heat this winter to begin with.

It does feel decent tonight. No wind. Not even a breeze. The temp has gone up a couple of degrees as rain gets nearer.
