KEEP MOVING A college class was graduating on a hot and humid day. As the graduates walked across the platform and received their diplomas from the president of the college, he smiled, shook their hands, and said loudly, "Congratulations!" Then, in a much lower voice, one that was firm and could be heard only by the graduates, he would say, "Keep moving".
He was only trying to keep the line moving across the stage, but his words were good advice for a lifetime: "Keep moving". After every achievement growing up, graduation, marriage, job promotion, even retirement the best advice is, "Keep moving. Don't stop. Don't stagnate". There is more to life than you have found thus far. This is not the end; it is only the beginning. "Keep moving." When we approach life with this attitude, we look forward to the future and what God has in store for us. CDR Michael L. Schutz, CHC, USN

Tippy has no use for a coat or boots, but she has a thick coat of her own.
I’m keeping her walks short because it’s been bitter cold!

In spite of his battle with stage four cancer, Lt Col Mark Weber of the Minnesota Natl Guard sings “Tell My Father”, a Civil War era song, with his son at the Minnesota History Center in Saint Paul. Weber also told his story & gave an emotional Army Birthday address earlier: • Last Lecture - Army Style (link listed below)

Dear God: I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, National Guardsman, or Merchant Marine feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
Psalm 130:7 & 8

The cold has indeed arrived. BRRRRRR It squeaked up to 20 for about a half hour, then back into the teens. Cloudy with occasional snow flurries, and quite windy.
The deflectors are doing their job keeping kitty bodies off the vents. So much better in here now.
