WASHINGTON — When President Donald Trump watched a live feed of the U.S. military operation that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, was not in the room. Just two days earlier, she had posted photos of herself on a beach in Hawaii at sunset practicing yoga, sending out a new year’s greeting for “peace.”
That she appeared to be on vacation in the run-up to such a high-stakes, ultra-sensitive military operation seemed to underscore the extent to which she has been sidelined by the administration.
But there she was on Wednesday, at an election center in Fulton County, Georgia, as FBI agents conducted a raid seeking ballots from the 2020 presidential election, which Trump has falsely claimed he won.
Gabbard's presence baffled national security experts and raised questions about whether she is seeking new relevancy in the eyes of a president who had soured on her.

Her presence does not surprise me at all.
Whether in attendance, or watching from DC, I would expect her to be highly interested in this situation. Maduro knows where the bodies are buried.

Did she have an intel connection during her military service? It appears she knows more that she should, based on her public record.
I wonder if the “media” scumbags have found any dirt on Gabbard’s dog yet. Surely he’s dived more dumpsters than Whoopi Goldberg.

Tulsi is getting Flak - thus she is over the target.
Getting Maduro was a law-enforcement objective supported by Dept. of War. Tulsi did not need to be present.
Foreign interference with our elections is right in Ms. Gabbard lane
If Tulsi is involved, then National Intelligence is a factor, and this is much bigger than we imagined.
We can all speculate, suppose Maduro is talking about Venezuela’s connection to Dominion Voting machines.
I would not be opposed in making a deal with Maduro, after we convict him in court, he can serve his sentence at the ADX Supermax or a minimum-security prison depending on how much he talks.
It is very interesting to see Tulsi Gabbard show up in Atlanta for the raid.
Oh please, NBC. Tulsi Gabbard, along with the entire Trump administration and Trump himself, are “under scrutiny” for waking up in the morning.
Narrative management is shown these days even in the choice of vocabulary.

The depiction of Gabbard peering from behind a corner is an editorial position.
Note the overt messaging in a sentence: "Gabbard's presence baffled national security experts and raised questions about whether she is seeking new relevancy in the eyes of a president who had soured on her."
A number of assertions without detail or proof, wrapped into a nice little package of innuendo. These are the times in which we live.

As I sat for my morning constitutional I realized Maduro was the nexus.
How is it she is “under scrutiny” when it’s the corrupt election officials that are being investigated?

I guess NBC expected Gabbard to parachute into Caracas while clenching a trench knife between her teeth.

Yes the GA raid is intriguing. Of course the MSM makes the story somehow all about Tulsi.
