That’s very relevant from a historical perspective as to the person they are now trying to lionize but it matters not at all from a legal perspective unless the officer(s) involved in the shooting were aware of that and legitimately perceived a threat from it.
It certainly shows that he was angry agitated and violent.
Let’s keep in mind that each time he mixed it up with federal agents they were in the process of trying to arrest a serious criminal.
The incident he was shot at involved the arrest of a wife beater. These protesters are violent nuts who are actually trying to help horrible criminals. That’s how misguided they are.
It would sure help if the media would show him as jumping into the interaction between ICE and the 2 protesters and getting physical with the officer to do it.
Jumping in to battle officers is a serious escalation and another outburst of physical violence from this guy.

Perhaps not.....If he was indeed carrying a weapon during this first violent encounter with ICE he may have forfeited his right to legally possess and or carry a weapon from that moment on.

thats what they used to do in the 60’s and 70’s during those riots...after about 30 or 40 got shot and killed, those riots stopped. Marines with fixed bayonets would form perimeters around the agitators.. look what happened at Kent State in 1970. And there were no more riots and protests at Kent State. Not sure why Trump has let this escalate like this. That little punk mayor needs to be arrested.

That’s the comment I was waiting to see. If he had been arrested that day, and the second incident wouldn’t have happened.

I know I’m an outlier here, but I feel terribly bad for this man Alex Pretti.
All I see is a dude intent on suicide-by-cop. A person who does this is somewhere between disturbed and mentally ill. I think I’ll hold reserve comment for someone genuinely mentally ill.
I think that Pretti knew that if he could create enough mayhem, maybe his “the gestapo” would martyr him in some future event. He got his wish, he is a martyr now.
The media are going to do their level best to make sure Pretti is saintly, sanctified, and deified.
Its interesting to watch journalists cover Nick Shirley in a smearing fashion, trying to upend every last inch of Shirley’s life they can get their hands on. But we are treated to a blackout about who is Alex Pretti in the reporting by journalists.
