FORT WORTH, Texas — A teenager arrested in connection with a string of south Fort Worth car arsons has been linked to a viral social media video developed overseas by an extremist hate group, police said Tuesday.
The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said, on Jan. 6, it became aware of a concerning video shared across multiple social media platforms, which depicted an individual wearing a hockey mask delivering explicit threats of mass violence, stating intentions to kill indiscriminately, and expressing a lack of regard for human life.
Fort Worth police, in coordination with the Fort Worth Arson Unit, determined that the videos and messages threatening mass violence were connected to several videos linked to five arson incidents on the south side of Fort Worth.
Evan Banda, 17, was identified as the suspect in the arson cases, police said.
Banda was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 8 and charged with multiple counts of arson. According to FWPD, investigators determined through interviews and evidence processing that Banda was the one responsible for recording Crowley Middle School and tied him to the violent extremist organization.
According to an affidavit obtained by WFAA, the person in the hockey mask stated "many people will die. We will kill you in every way possible – shooting, bombing, cutting. We will be as cruel as possible. We don't care about gender or age. We will not spare anyone."
Police said the video was initially posted on an unnamed social media platform but had since widely circulated on additional accounts, prompting concern in the public. After investigating, Fort Worth police said they had reason to believe the video was developed overseas by an extremist hate group.
Fort Worth PD continued to monitor the social media activity on these social accounts and found more threatening messages and videos, including footage of Crowley Middle School.
According to the affidavit, later that same day, FWPD said a second video was posted from that same account where the person in the video stated "I have a rifle, a pistol, explosives and around 700 rounds of ammunition. I am confident I can kill more than 50 children, but I am not alone. My associates will be entering schools and start killing people. We will come to all schools."
Fourteen schools were listed in the description of the second video, the affidavit said:
Andrews Elementary School Baranoff Elementary School Barrington Elementary School Lake Dallas High School South Hills High School Arlington Heights High School Castleberry High School Nolan Catholic High School Watson High School Timber Creek High School Eagle Mountain High School RMA Fort Worth Public School Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School North Crowley High School
Police determined that the group and individual involved were affiliated with a violent international neo-Nazi and accelerationist extremist group, the affidavit stated. The group adheres to a "Nihilistic National socialist" philosophy, combining neo-Nazi and Satanic ideologies, the affidavit said.
Then, a third video was posted by the same account with footage showing what police determined to be North Crowley Middle School. The video included a caption saying "your time has come" and "we're going to kill a lot of children."
Police said Banda acted in support of extremist ideologies and was charged with Terroristic Threat and Terrorism, which jail records also show. Investigators also found evidence to charge Banda with possession of child pornography, police said.
Although Banda is 17 years old, Fort Worth police have said he'll be charged as an adult.
The affidavit also said Banda told police another person, who officers found to be a student at North Crowley High School, was helping Banda plan the mass shooting/bombing/cutting event. The affidavit states: "Officers believed Banda to be evasive with the identity of [redacted] due to the fact that they reside in the same school district and are the same age."
According to the affidavit, this unnamed North Crowley High School student told Banda the start times for North Crowley High School. Police said this student is a person of interest in the case, per the affidavit, and believe the two "may have continued communication in the future."
It is unclear if Fort Worth police have made any other arrests in this case.

Media will look at the word National and ignore the word Socialist and say this is a right wing group. —> “Nihilistic National socialist”
That shows what corrupt liars the media are.
Another murderous tranny?
All of that, and we have no idea what this group’s name is?
I hope the jailers have given him a buzz-cut already.
Make one wonder, what happened to him when he went missing at 10 years old in 2018?

No life in his eyes. A true little terrorist.
Can’t help wondering what makes him tick. How did this monster become so evil?
a violent international neo-Nazi and accelerationist extremist group
So I decided to do a search, and this is what AI presented:
Atomwaffen Division (AWD) was a violent international neo-Nazi and accelerationist extremist group founded in 2015 by Brandon Russell. It promoted the violent overthrow of existing governments through terrorism, sabotage, and mass violence to accelerate societal collapse and establish a white ethnostate. AWD was deeply influenced by the writings of neo-Nazi ideologue James Nolan Mason, particularly his manifesto Siege, and embraced the concept of "leaderless resistance" to evade law enforcement. The group operated globally, with active cells in the United States, Germany, Canada, and other countries, and was linked to multiple murders, bomb plots, and acts of terrorism.
Despite being disbanded as of November 10, 2024, AWD's ideology and network persist through offshoots such as the National Socialist Order (NSO), Feuerkrieg Division (FKD), Sonnenkrieg Division, and The Base, all of which share its accelerationist goals. These groups continue to inspire and train adherents in paramilitary tactics, distribute extremist propaganda, and advocate for race war and the destruction of liberal democracies. AWD and its affiliates have been designated as terrorist organizations by the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Austria, Italy, and Estonia, reflecting their global threat.
Sounds like the kind of individuals that are sowing chaos across this nation. I wonder if this guy is a paid protestor. Not unlike the paid politicians of the Democrat Party who are paid agitators, which I suspect like the Democrat politicians, are being paud by us, the citizenry.
Aren’t transsexuals wannabes?
Incels. They see everyone else as “weak”.
He looks stoned on something. Maybe anti depressants and Xanax.
Perhaps “radicalized” by muslims in the big mosques there?
That thing PROBABLY IS.
“Nihilistic National Socialist” sounds like a contradiction in terms. The National Socialists had very definite views on what they supported and what they opposed.
"Police determined that the group and individual involved were affiliated with a violent international neo-Nazi and accelerationist extremist group, the affidavit stated. The group adheres to a "Nihilistic National socialist" philosophy, combining neo-Nazi and Satanic ideologies, the affidavit said."
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Satanic ideologies?
You don't say.......
So, what is its name?
