A Michigan county clerk alleged that the jury pool for a circuit court has recently included non-citizens who are ineligible for jury duty.
“Non-citizens are coming through at an alarming rate,” Macomb County Clerk Anthony G. Forlini said in a press release. “Our jury service summonses are based on random draws from the driver’s license bank. Frequently non-citizens slip through because citizenship was not flagged in the Secretary of State database.”
Why It Matters
Citizenship is a key requirement for jury service at the state and federal levels. Michigan law states that in order to qualify as a juror, an individual must be a citizen of the United States 18 years of age or older. The Office of U.S. Courts also states that most U.S. citizens who are 18 or older may serve on a federal jury. The Office of U.S. Courts states that jury service is a civic duty where the jury is tasked with deciding “the facts of a case in accordance with principles of the law as explained by a judge.”
Forlini, who is running for Michigan secretary of state, said he found 239 non-citizens in the jury pool over a four-month period.
“What we have found is very disturbing,” he said.
He said he also directed his staff to check the secretary of state’s Qualified Voter File (QVF).

Obviously this based off of getting a Michigan driver's license. In order to get that license she showed he green card showing her status, but MI sent the summons anyway.
Is Mich a motor voter registration state? If they don’t track citizenship status for drivers licenses well...

Drivers license put her in motor voter registration.
So as you can see voter registration doesn’t require her to be a citizen

It’s not offensive, racist or a bad thing.
When you are not a citizen of a nation, there are certain activities you should not be allowed to engage in because your loyalty may not be there, there is more likely to be a conflict of interest.
That is only common sense.
But common sense does not seem to be very common today.
I changed my voter registration from CA to Idaho about 18 months ago. CA still sends me ballots and other voter info!
Certainly liberal government bureaucrats would ensure non citizens and illegal aliens wouldn’t be put on motor voter rolls. When I received ballots for non-citizen legal voters at my company the state just say it was an “oversite.” When I got my “REAL ID” driver’s license I didn’t have to show anything. Just check a box that said “I AFFIRM (not even swear) I am a legal citizen.
I would wonder why an illegal aliens would bother trying to get legal status or citizenship. They get all the benefits without any responsibilities. They get free education, free medical care, VOTING, they have an entire political apparatus that lobbies for them, the don’t have to pay taxes. They don’t have to register for the draft. They don’t have to go to jury duty. And now look, they have an army of stupid white gringos our protecting them in the streets.
MISTTRIAL!
Presumably anyone convicted by a jury of non-citizens; or containing even one non-citizen would be able to have that verdict thrown out for sure and possibly not have to stand trial again.
I thought jury pools were selected from voter registration rolls.
If you can get more, and more, and more?
Some folks have no sense of guilt, pride or shame.
They actually believe the victimization crap and think they are entitled things they didn’t work for.
Or they think as noncitizens they are entitled what a citizen is...
People tell them they deserve this or are victims, and it feels and sounds good.
Instead of asking, if foreigners can vote in their country of origin (likely not)?
Or if foreigners that largely work cash on hand and don’t pay taxes should be allowed access to all the social services in their country of origin (likely not)?
The self victimized ignore the glaring double standard and feel they are entitled these things because you have some bleeding heart liberals in the US wanting to give away other people’s hard earned taxes so that they can feel charitable (good) about themselves.
It’s only a matter of time before America crashes and burns.
Any non-citizen juror who steps into the courtroom should be deported immediately.
