Over 1,000 pubs have now implemented a ban on serving Labour MPs, in a widespread protest against tax increases that pose a threat to their existence. This includes three local establishments frequented by Rachel Reeves, who have declared they will deny her entry over the festive season.
Andy Lennox, a publican from Dorset spearheading the campaign, stated that should a Labour MP attempt to purchase a pint from him, he would insist they "go back and don't come" in. He expressed his frustration: "We've done enough talking. We've had letters hand-delivered to the chancellor. We've told the chancellor what we need. We need an emergency VAT cut to 13 per cent now. Until that happens, this is going to get bigger and bigger and bigger. The vast majority of everybody I know is either going bust, struggling, or on their last leg".
Jeremy Clarkson has also thrown his support behind the campaign, prohibiting any Labour MPs from entering his renowned Farmer's Dog pub in the Cotswolds.
He announced: "To be clear, I have banned all Labour MPs from my pub, except one: Markus Campbell-Savours. He's welcome any time. And not just because the Labour Party has now sacked him."
Mr Campbell-Savours was stripped of the Labour whip last week for opposing Rachel Reeves's Family Farms Tax, reports the Express.

FWIW, there are about 45,000 pubs in the UK.
The UK government will probably make it a hate crime to not serve MP’s. The UK sure has fallen away from democracy and free speech.

As if politicians lower themselves to drink with the regular people at any time other than election time. It makes a statement, sure, but the pols won’t care.
It only counts if they ban Labour voters.
Which they won’t.
How do you tell if someone is in the “Labour’’ Party’’?
What if they belong to “The Standing At The Back Looking Silly Party’’?
There won’t be pubs once the muslim conquerors complete their takeover of the once proud nation of England.
