Military analyst Denys Popovych said on Radio NV that Russian troops are currently encircled near Kupyansk and explained how Ukrainian forces carried out a successful operation there on Dec. 13.
There are now encircled Russian army units in the city that are clearly in the final stage of their presence there. Cleanup operations are ongoing, and it is impossible to predict when they will end. Why do the Russians make such statements about capturing Kupyansk? They are taking territory on credit. They need it to demonstrate that they are advancing and achieving success. It’s winter, so time to regroup and rearm.
I guess that Ukraine will get all it’s land back, get reparations for the damaged done, enforce a ban on all offensive weapons in Russia, limit the armed forces and Putin will be put on trial in Brussels.
I really thought that Ukraine would be divided like Korea, Moldova and Odessa would be controlled by Russia and landlock Ukraine, and then the Baltic States would be threatened in order to protect Kallingrad Oblast. Then our corporations would “rebuild” Ukraine, control the agricultural/industrial assets in repayment for the money/weapons we “gave” them.

Russia is in economic depression with no cash and depleted reserves of money and men. The Oil sales are dried up and Putin has no sources of cash to fund his aggression.
The Russian banking business is destitute and in shambles. a small business needing a loan to finance inventory can’t afford 30% interest he would be charged.
Russia has lost the war it can no longer prosecute with victory beyond killing Ukrainian civilians with missiles
