The Trump administration is working toward cutting illegal migrants off from federal tax benefits and money transfer services, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Friday.
“At [President Trump’s] direction, we are working to cut off federal benefits to illegal aliens and preserve them for U.S. citizens,” Bessent wrote on X.
As part of the effort, the Treasury Department will propose new regulations “clarifying that the refunded portions of certain individual income tax benefits are no longer available to illegal and other non-qualified aliens, covering the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the American Opportunity Tax Credit, and the Saver’s Match Credit,” according to the the Trump administration official.

We need to change immigration policy so only people who don’t go on the dole are welcome here. You have to show means of support, a job skill, some savings, a sponsor who will vouch for you. And NO MORE benefits of ANY KIND to the damn moochers.
Let them learn how to be corrupt on their own and bleed Minnesota dry.

It’s such a far cry from 100 years ago. My grandparents arrived penniless in October 1927 and didn’t get a cent of public assistance or charity. They got to work, learned English, became naturalized and contributed. That’s back in the day when there was SHAME at being on the dole. We need to build that shame culture again. It simply can’t and won’t exist where government takes care of you cradle to grave.

and illegals know how to charge too, ask ANY handyman what they want for a job, we have been given a few of them no clue if they are legal, we never asked..and boy oh boy do they know how to charge for an hours work, something simple like putting a door handle into a door, 100 bucks, and they only accept cash

Yes. And their healthcare is breaking the bank.
So is their SSI and social security.
They also get free driver’s licenses without having to take a driving test in Oregon.
They dump them off in buses at the DMV and are automatically registered to vote at the same time.
Should have been done decades ago.
