Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., appeared on MS NOW's "The Rachel Maddow Show" on Monday, where he responded to the Pentagon's announcement that it has opened a formal review into allegations of misconduct over a video calling on service members to "refuse illegal orders."
On Monday, the Pentagon announced its investigation into Kelly, a retired Navy captain, and said it may call the senator back to active duty to face court-martial proceedings or other administrative actions under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
When asked by Maddow about the Pentagon's investigation, Kelly said, "Well, Rachel, I said something that was pretty simple and non-controversial, and that was that members of the military should follow the law. And in response to that, Donald Trump said, I should be executed, I should be hanged. I should be prosecuted."

Al Green, Maxine Waters, Eric Swalwell, Rashida Tlaib, Elissa Slotkin, JB Pritzker, Lawrence Reed (allegedly seriously burned a woman on Chicago subway) and MANY others on the Left.

I don’’t buy that. If reincarnation and ‘karma’ are real, personal ugliness could be the ‘punishment’ for quite a lot of things - extreme vanity, too much value placed on physical beauty, prejudice against unattractive people, etc. We don’t consider those ‘terrible crimes’ but they are errors that may need to be corrected in the journey of a particular soul.
Kelley will submit to the discipline and regulations of his rank, and is subject to the UCMJ just like all the rest of us had to, whether enlisted or commissioned, and irrespective of his civilian political rank.
He’s supposed to be setting an example for others to follow, not engaging in sedition, insubordination and actual treason.
This is another perfect example of how democrats believe that they are above the law.
Democrats have recreated the two-tiered system of justice and lack of accountability of the European aristocracy that we threw out of America during our glorious Revolution.
It was the brazen display of arrogance such as this that banded Americans together to throw King George and his lackeys out 250 years ago.
Kelley et al see themselves as heroes, in reality they are seditious and treasonous punks, undeserving of not only their political office, but indeed their citizenship itself.
BTW, this guy Kelley was Obama’s hand-picked choice to be the democrat nominee in 2024 until Biden endorsed Harris in a fit of anger over Obama pushing him out.

I can’t answer for the reincarnation believers. If our religions had second chances or third chances then the reason for living a good and charitable life on Earth would be diminished by “Oh, well, I’ll sin some more and maybe have better luck next life at being holy.”

I don’t know about physical reincarnation; perhaps we move on through an endless series of other dimensions and the experiences they provide.
But I believe that we are all eternal, and we exist to experience, learn and grow.
I think Kelly has made himself ugly simply because of what he allows his mind to dwell upon. He’s becoming one of those old people whom we’ve all met who develop an ugly visage because they dwell on ugly stuff. Democrats care mostly about power; in recent years, I haven’t seen their megalomania leavened by much idealism.
