Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., appeared on MS NOW's "The Rachel Maddow Show" on Monday, where he responded to the Pentagon's announcement that it has opened a formal review into allegations of misconduct over a video calling on service members to "refuse illegal orders."
On Monday, the Pentagon announced its investigation into Kelly, a retired Navy captain, and said it may call the senator back to active duty to face court-martial proceedings or other administrative actions under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
When asked by Maddow about the Pentagon's investigation, Kelly said, "Well, Rachel, I said something that was pretty simple and non-controversial, and that was that members of the military should follow the law. And in response to that, Donald Trump said, I should be executed, I should be hanged. I should be prosecuted."

Neither Congress or any of its members are in the military chain of command.
These persons can do absolutely NOTHING to any service member who follows an “illegal order”, that is covered under the UMCJ.
They cannot even refer or bring a charge against any member of the US military for any action.

I have to say, I have been amazed to see some random acts of journalism this weekend. They kept asking “give us examples of illegal orders”. None of this gang of corksuckers could.
See, we know abt they mean by illegal.
Illegal = anything a democrat disagrees with.
They can refer ‘crimes’ to a friendly DOJ down the line. Their biggest issue is the destruction of ‘good order and discipline’ whereby people of some status encourage servicemembers to ignore orders they don’t like. Of course these shitbirds won’t face the consequences if a servicemember does listen to them, he/she will be holding the bag themselves. I’d hang them all.
Say something outrageous and completely uncalled for, respond “I will not be intimidated!” when the scrutiny comes as though he’s a victim...
