Tucker Carlson has revealed that the young man who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania last year had a long record of espousing political violence.
Comments posted by Thomas Crooks to YouTube from 2019 to 2020 show a detailed digital trail of violent threats that included calls for assassination and political violence, despite the Federal Bureau of Investigation's repeated claims otherwise, according to a mini-documentary Carlson released Friday morning.
The posts were made by Crooks when was between 15 and 17 years old, Carlson's expose claims.
The deep-dive from the former Fox News stemmed from a tip he received from an anonymous source who he said gained access to Crooks' wiped social media accounts.
Aside from repeated calls for political violence, the posts show a man who started out as a radical Trump supporter but whose views on the president transformed completely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The FBI lied about that fact, Carlson claims, citing that Crooks has been framed as by the agency as right wing in the little information that's been provided on him.
Carlson also pointed to an exchange he said Crooks had with a person affiliated with a leftist organization designated as terrorist group, after which his posts stopped and his digital footprint abruptly ended.
The FBI went on to say that Crooks left no online footprint at all - another lie, according to Carlson, who notes 'Crooks was ripe for recruitment by someone at this stage.'

Tucker Carlson without a really rich daddy?
We “liked” Bill Barr.
We “trusted” Jeff Sessions.
We “have faith” in Kash Patel.
But our investigations just never seem to go anywhere.
Who is Tucker Carlson? A most curious sort of fellow, and not just to the point of inquisitiveness. He seems to favor some rather startling opinions, never throwing more than softball questions at Nick Fuentes, yet he otherwise seems to stand foursquare with skewering other long-held opinions and sometimes extreme opinions. There appears to be a serious attempt to tie MAGA in with antisemitism, with this slanted questioning, yet no evidence that the vast majority of America Firsters or MAGA enthusiasts ever entertained this notion. So where does Tucker really stand?
I am waiting for Tucker to come out with something like “On the other hand, there is this preponderance of evidence that almost all of MAGA and America Firsters are on the side of Israel and Netanyahu in the question of what to do with Gaza.”
There may be a case to be built that there is some degree of “right-wing antisemitism” but it is very much a minority position and not worthy of serious attention.
Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workingmen’s Party were NEVER “right-wing extremists” but only “kinder, gentler, left-wing socialists”, and were only slightly to the “right” of the International Socialism of the Soviet Union.
Keep it in the correct lane, people.
How old was he and he had this long history?
Glad someone else questioned this. A long history between age 15-17 according to OP. Then this kid came to the attention of someone ? CIA ? who saw a valuable asset to exploit.

I’d be willing to bet that the guy in Europe, Willy Tepes, that Crooks was texting about assassination was ANTIFA leader. Several of them are in Sweden and they’re from the US.
I hope we do get a straight answer about what happened at Butler, Pennsylvania because, in addition to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump — which failed by a hair— there were two others who were severely wounded that day and one, Corey Comperatore, who was killed. Lest we forget. If there were simple security foul ups and incompetence, and/or if there was something deeper and darker going on, we need to know —for a change.

Patel’s statement specifically addresses ONLY social media interactions regarding the assassination plan and attempt itself, which is actually born out by what Tucker published ... the statement of course begs the question about all the OTHER social media insanity by this cretin prior to his assassination plan ...
