X ^ | 11/11/2025 | Evan Kilgore

-50 year mortgages
-600,000 chinese students
-ANTIFA riots
-Bombing Iran
-No Epstein Files
-Antisemitism crackdowns
-ISIS in White House
-Inflation

MAGA is losing me, to he honest.

My life has seen zero improvement since Trump took office. It's actually worse.

Americans Last.

This guy speaks for a lot people in the MAGA, especially younger ones.

Trump has got to get back to the issues that got him elected, fulfill his promises and stop pandering the Republican donor class and establishment.

If not, he ends up being George W. Bush in this second term and we're headed for a Democrat getting elected that is as bad as Kier Starmer in Britain.

A lot of what Trump is doing & saying - like the 600 Chinese students & the 50 year mortgage - is inexplicable to me. That being said, anyone who goes against MAGA isn’t going to find improvement on the other side.

Better vote for Democrats then.

Quitter! Debbie Downer.

I don’t mind saying, I’m an always-Trumper. That man has pulled this country out of a chasm of no return. And I realize he’s still up to his ass in alligators; but I’ve never seen his like. And he’s making progress on this vipers’ tangle. Far better than I could ever dream of doing.

It is the economy, stupid. Trump needs to focus on:

1: jobs

2: inflation

Tariffs need to take a back seat to the above. We need a smart long term strategy to bring manufacturing back to the US, that includes tariffs and tax incentives.

Putting a 100% tax on Italian pasta is not the way to do this. Make housing cheaper and abundant, not 50 year mortgages (servitude to the bank without ownership).

Trump is doing good things, but we need more

Keep lowering energy prices

Keep deregulating

Keep building

The President is definitely faltering by focusing on foreign entanglements, just as our founders warned. Unfortunately his ego is too massive to hold back the potential of “being in the history books” on those issues. Yes, we all know he has a big ego, can’t deny that.

Some of his leftists family members may also be leading him astray again, just as they did in his first term. They’ve been very quiet so far - probably working behind the scenes. Plus he needs break off his love affair with Qatar. That is the kind of mistake that can lead to the destruction of our nation.

I'm so old I remember when the media took Trump literally, not seriously, and us Trump supporters took him seriously, not literally.

Nothing wrong with a 50-year mortgage.

Nobody who gets one will actually have it for 50 years. They’ll sell their home, or refinance.

This is why conservatives and Republicans always lose. They don’t support their leaders all the way through.

Sure there is going to be some pain felt. You can’t fix everything without causing somebody to not like you.

President Trump has already done more in less than a year than others in their whole term.

If you pander just to win elections, nothing will change for the better.

The Chinese students is ridiculous.

Who cares 50 year mortgages? Like 30 isn’t already a long time?

Go Trump but please don’t educate the Chinese here. He’s trying to offer them cooperation but they are snakes.

Laura ingraham - who signed a contract with Fox the week they announced and celebrated Biden walking into the White House- and the media’s negative spin

Focusing on all the negative

People want to have everything right now all at once

Vote in a democrat Congress next year that will fix everything

Better, run for President and do a better job keeping these corrupt world governments in line while they’re trying to get rid of you and your family in every way possible.

Trump does a lot of great things and is probably the best president of our lifetimes, but he can be very foolish. He thinks he’s the smartest guy on earth and everything can be fixed with snap decisions.

He proves that fed.gov needs to be a small fraction of its current size, regardless of who’s in power.

I can only guess - I believe Trump is looking at economic data, and has decided that he/we need whatever stimulus is possible in the next 12 months - more tuition-paying Chinese students, more real-estate sales, more tech investment.

The problem is not that upset MAGA folk will switch sides. They just won't be motivated to organize and vote in 2026.

Good grief. I certainly don’t get this attitude either.

Trump isn’t perfect in any way. But to expect that is completely childish and juvenile.

I don’t like every single thing that Trump has done, but if people like that X-poster and some of the people on this forum who don’t think he is moving things in the right direction...exactly so.

RINO’s or Democrats should be your choice.
