Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel have produced to Congress a new cache of documents showing how Bill and Hillary Clinton's foundation collected donations from foreign and domestic interests seeking influence – raising fresh concerns that such evidence was kept from federal prosecutors who tried to investigate pay-to-play allegations against the former first family a decade ago.
Officials told Just the News that the documents were transmitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee in recent days and detail numerous instances of foreigners and even a U.S. defense contractor seeking to curry favor with the Clintons through donations to their family charity, including when Hillary Clinton served as secretary of State. Bill Clinton was a U.S. president from 1993 to 2001.
The officials said some of the evidence was flagged by whistleblowers who claimed such evidence was kept from a corruption investigation that was being conducted in 2015 by the Little Rock, Ark., U.S. attorney’s office before it was shut down by the Obama administration's Justice Department.

From what I remember the Clintons spent $10 megabucks on Chelsea’s wedding. I wonder if that was considered a charity expenditure by the Clinton Foundation?

During her time as Obama’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton met with at least 85 donors to her husband’s “Clinton Foundation,” out of 154 people from private interests who met or spoke with her.
These donors contributed millions to the Clinton Foundation, with at least 40 giving more than $100,000 and 20 giving more than $1 million.

A subsequent DOJ Inspector General reported:
A high-ranking DOJ official (identified as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General at the time, who served under Sally Yates as Deputy AG) expressed “displeasure” to then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe that FBI agents were still actively pursuing the Clinton Foundation probe during the 2016 election season.
This communication was interpreted by some, including House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), as potential pressure from senior Obama Justice Department officials to hamper the Clinton investigation.
Reports from the time mentioned “whispers from Clinton-hating agents in the bureau’s New York field office” who were frustrated that the investigation was lingering and believed McCabe had issued orders to “stand down”, a claim McCabe denied and countered with an anecdote to a reporter to show the probe was active.
In summary, the claims centered around a concern or displeasure being expressed about the timing and visibility of the investigation during an election year, not a direct order from Yates (or anyone else) to permanently terminate the investigation. The matter led to calls for further investigation into whether political pressure was applied, but no such order has been substantiated.
