The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a case addressing whether states may count ballots that arrive after Election Day.
The Republican National Committee and Mississippi Libertarian Party challenged the state's law permitting the counting of ballots postmarked by Election Day should they arrive within five days, Politico reported.

No ballots should be counted after the day following the election. I read where the Jamaican Hoodoo Voodoo wants to change the voting age to 16. Why? It takes months to count all the ballots submitted by the voters we already have. We don’t need more. No ballots that are delivered AFTER election day should ever be counted.
Postmarks can be manufactured. The democrats have perfected this fraud with their own mail processing systems (they sometimes even have them in their car).
Look for the Rats to fight tooth an nail to prevent the court from nullifying these late ballots.
Stop mail in voting. Open more polls and begin voting at midnight on election day. Close the polls at 11:59pm. Only those who are physically unable to make it to the polls should be allowed an exception and biometrics should be required for them to vote.
Require all votes to be counted by COB Wednesday. Anything after that doesn’t count and poll workers are to be jailed for missing the deadline as well as anybody else involved with failing to meet the requirements laid out in statute.
Voting by mail need to be greatly restricted and this made moot.

I asked AI about what the policy is of tax court for timely filing, included in the response is the following:
Actual Delivery: If the document is received after the date it would ordinarily be received, the sender may be required to prove the cause of the delay was due to a delay in the U.S. mail transmission
I should have added that the Tax Court honors the post mark. My guess is that they will apply same logic and allow those with normal PO postmarks that are received within normal delays like 3-5.

As if there are no corrupt Republicans, who want to see a Democrat win an election because they feel like there is a usurper within the Republican Party ranks that they don’t want elected. No, ban the practice altogether. At least where so much as one single race on a ballot is for a federal office, election day was set in the constitution as the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November (states can do whatever else they would like if there are no federal officers up for election). Allowing counting beyond that day is an anathema to the constitution, and nothing more than an invitation to cheat.
Every polling place should have drop off....but...when you do this....you should also have to have it time stamped before you drop it in the box...and there should be a continuous video of the time stamping.
If a ballot doesn’t meet the pre-estabilished criteria for the vote, then it does not... and should not... count.
